I saw this machine in Valdez Alaska in 2008, it's sitting behind the museum and is exposed to the elements, very sad end for this innovative device seeing how it is complete(but in need of restoration) also my initial comment on this site was flagged as spam for what reason I can't figure out. I just thought that people wanted to know where this particular machine is now
Really shows how Americans are the most innovative people on the planet. But... in today's world a Senator would have the inventor killed, the patent given to Caterpillar so it could be armed with rockets to kill people. Then the Chinese would steal the patent and sell it back to the Americans and the liberals would apologize for the Chinese and say they have 1000's of years of history and like paper lanterns and chinese dragons so the inventor had it coming to him.
@Vox863 Wrong. They would have the machine environmentally tested, tested for lead, tested for crash safety, fail it, force the inventor to build it overseas and then spend years wondering why the U.S economy is failing.
i want one
