@xshalludiex I think Harris was more creative on the bass during the Di'anno years, Genghis Khan and Phantom of the Opera were probably his best - Wrathchild also ^. The gallop's got a little mundane now.

Back in the fall of 2005 Paul Di`Anno performed at the local disco in my town, with 36 tickets sold. The man himself told us it was the second smallest crowd he d ever performed for. For the encore, Sanctuary, he stood amongs the "crowd" on the dance floor, it was really cool.
His backing band on that norwegian tour was Thunderbolt.
Di'Anno was perfect for the first two Maiden albums, unfortunately it seems time has been kind to his vocals. Still enjoy listening to the first two Maiden albums

@yatsenkoanton Bruce is a great singer, but I doubt he can reach the high pitched vocals of Halford or match the hard rock tones of McCafferty of Nazareth and Brian Johnson of ACDC.
@chroniclerofthe70s Bruce and Halford have absolutely different voices and singing style, so it's fallaciously to compare them. But I think that Bruce the God has the best "clear vocals". His voice is the most powerful and beautiful. So there is only one true God - Bruce Dickinson. Amen!

They are all gods of Rock N Metal.

@laithlaith91 It's ok to not like Dickinson's voice. Personally I think he is the best singer ever but it's' a matter of opinion. I think Di'Anno was fantastic singer before. I went to a show with him earlier this year (the last one before he was sent to jail) and it was a great show but he did not sing very well. He was off-key a lot, and he told us he was sorry that his voice was so bad. I though: take some singing lessons and it will be ok.. Anyway: I met him backstage and he was so cool!! :D

@chroniclerofthe70s Bruce and Halford have absolutely different voices and singing style, so it's fallaciously to compare them. But I think that Bruce the God has the best "clear vocals". His voice is the most powerful and beautiful. So there is only one true God - Bruce Dickinson. Amen!

@yatsenkoanton Like I stated before, Bruce is a great singer who has maintained his vocal abilities. I own every Maiden album an first heard Bruce on the Number of the Beast Tour. I think is disrespectful to the many great singers like Dio, Halford, Meine, Johnson, McCafferty, and Mercury among others to state that Bruce is the greatest singer. They are all gods of Rock N Metal.

i dnt know wat the hell ppl are talking bout , Paul sounds awesome here, besides hes my favorite Maiden singer anyway, the first 2 albums are their best to me, and Bruce is pretty overrated, id rather lsn to guys like Geoff Tate,Midnight, John Arch,David White,Rob Halford,etc. that have a nicer voice to lsn to for me, i like him, but i just think his voice isnt rly that interesting to lsn to, sure he has alot of range but i jst dnt rly like his voice

@laithlaith91 It's ok to not like Dickinson's voice. Personally I think he is the best singer ever but it's' a matter of opinion. I think Di'Anno was fantastic singer before. I went to a show with him earlier this year (the last one before he was sent to jail) and it was a great show but he did not sing very well. He was off-key a lot, and he told us he was sorry that his voice was so bad. I though: take some singing lessons and it will be ok.. Anyway: I met him backstage and he was so cool!! :D

The other musicians in the band seem to have fun by playing this Maiden's classic, but Di'anno can't sing properly anymore the Maiden classics, it's obvious on this video, he seems to sing it in a "punky" way, which really doen'st fit to the song.
Furthermore, this guy has spent his whole post-Maiden career criticizing Maiden, but half of his track-list still today is filled with Maiden materials. Really dishonest...
