  • There can be only one!

    (Congratulations!)

  • Yamaha is working on a bagpipe with drone pipes from all key notes, it will be so much more advanced and completely musical.

  • Bagpipes are awesome!

  • how long was the course?

  • the only guy in the nation...

who attended a college that has bagpipe

    as a major....

is like saying....I'm the only guy who picked his nose yesterday.

good piping though...you should go to

nova scotia or glasgow college of piping...

    the REAL college of piping.

  • that foot tapping rite there is so chill i dont care how useless this major is in real life!

  • That was pretty cool! :)

  • Congratulations, you're good at blowing. How good are your other job skills?

  • Well done, in matriculating to the swelling ranks of the unemployed.

  • One time I was walking on the beach at sunset and someone started playing the bagpipes...it was sooo beautiful! I just stood there and listened with great joy :)

  • Congrats, dude.

  • Cool!

Are the special shoelaces (1:48) "de rigueur" or optional?

  • Thae 'shoe laces' ara part if tha actual shoe. The shoes are called ghillie brogues. All solo pipers and most pipe bands wear them. The laces were originally made for one to step in mud, in Scotland, and not have their shoe come off.

  • cool

    thanks

  • *scratch*

  • great!! play with his bag all day!!

  • Listen to 200 of them comming at you on a field of glory and say that.

  • Mom, dad, I've finally decided. I'm going to be a bagpipe major!

"Um, son, if that's what you really want, I won't, um, stand in your way. Just promise me you won't wear a kilt."

I wonder if you have to pay for your own kilt, and if it's required to pass?

  • Sorry, I was being a smartass. He plays damn good (he'd better, being the only graduate), and he certainly has a niche there.

  • I dig it, folk instruments are underrated

  • its a shame that 9 times out of ten when playing in public it will be at a funeral

  • dude why?

what steady job do you get with that?

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFABULOUS

  • My friend and I had an "Automatically Cool List." In the instrument category, you were automatically cool if your could play the stand-up bass, accordion, banjo or bagpipe! I'd totally go get a beer with this hep cat!!! All the haters, just wish they knew how to play two notes on anything.

  • funny, i play all four of those.

    this makes me happy

  • ur gay four times over

  • in that case, you surpass "automatically cool" and move straight into "LEGENDARY!"

  • really? really?

  • ahahah. that foos a g!! nice !

  • what's with all the negative? he's doing something he has a passion for, and he'll probably get job opportunities with the help of being the only bagpipe major.

I think it's really cool, keep on 'piping!

  • pipe these nuts in ur m outh

  • you sound like an uneducated red neck.

  • Ceud Mille Failte

  • Thank you. You just made my Philosophy major look damn good.

  • lol philosophy.. what a waste of human talent... unless your going to be a teacher..

  • lol pnyface.. what a waste of human space..

philosophy underpins everything. science is philosophy. politics is philosophy. debate is philosophy. believe it or not, studying it is pretty useful

  • Alba Gu Brath!

  • good

  • Great Job opportunities.

  • nick youre a true inspiration . god bless you . they dont matter .blow that shit boy !

  • he didn't waste his years in college on a major that won't get you anywhere! hell no!

  • Well that blows

  • make war not war

  • what?

  • make war not war. what didn't you understand? there was no comma.
