I hear it for the first time while watching the movie Wicked Spring, took me forever to find an online version. It was hidden for a long time. Not sure why since it is so good.
Great song. My father had just died. 83 years old. A country vet with the soul of a poet.
I was leaving the hospice and had just bought this CD. I had heard every song on the CD except this last track. Picture it.....my beloved and greatly loved father had just breathed his last breath.....and this is the song that played. Thanks. It is a memory that
Another awesome song here! This one is actually in the movie "Wicked Spring". Oh, and if you watch closely in the movie, Carbon Leaf's very own Barry Privett plays the part of a soldier for a few minutes!!
This is the first song I heard after leaving the hospice where my father died. He was a Veterinarian of 50+ years in my hometown. I got the chance to thank the group in my wife's hometown of Sioux City, Iowa. The lead singer was grateful and kind. It made the passing a great thing....not a sad thing. Like the song.
