At any rate, my point is that you can use Wine to run most games with no probs unless you require some high ActiveX performance/compliance, on such case Cedega is the choice.
If the game support OpenGL, it doesn't matter which one to use.
I've been using Wine for all my games no problem except for HL2 and Sims.

does this mean that if u install a linux based OS on a Ps3 and then u install Cedega on it, u can go ahead and run win xp based games, like WoW ?

why Cedega?
why not use WINE?
GegoXaren 4 years ago
because Cedega is better than Wine because cedega is especific for games
Promroa 4 years ago
ya, I used wine at first but the games lag and there is no real online support, wine is for programs and cedega for games

Cedega: ActiveX support
WoW using OpenGL runs just like native if config is correct
YetAnotherWebWarrior 4 years ago
but you have to configure it so it runs in openGL instead of in directX, same with Starcraft

wow.exe -opengl
No that hard :p
YetAnotherWebWarrior 4 years ago
but that opens the windows version in directX not the mac version in OpenGL
