days under a year later, i find than news van(around the 3:50 mark) at walmart with a horibly damaged card. Im still occasionally finding a 2010 car on the pegs in great condition. Last month I found two 2009 vw things in perfect condition. Only got one. I dont need to wast money on a car I already have. Anyway, does anyone know what T-hunt models to look for at kday? I already know the exclusives and early releases, but not the T-hunts out now.

@racegrooves I got two basics at kday yesturday.. There was about double the amount of boxes than people, so nearly everyone got two boxes. One super T-hunt was found by the person next to me.

@MrJailbrokenTech It is very unlikely that you will find one in the stores now. Mattel may have older stock that seemingly appears at discount stores (still for a buck though), it is unlikely that they would have stock this old. I would say that the Ecto hasn't been in the mix for at least four months.

@10h41 They have to emphasize to people that if your ticket gets called, you don't win the whole box for free LOL! You just get the opportunity to crack open the case and buy what you want. Some stores have a 5-car limit though.

Do they give everyone more than one ticket? what if they call both numbers, do you get 2 boxes?

@powerwh33ls You're supposed to only get ONE ticket per person but it's obvious that some people cheat. If you want to increase your odds, get somebody to go with you. Some stores however, will make sure that THAT person is the one going through the case so if you have somebody go with you, make sure they know what to look for.

@cuttyflamsH As far as I know, it is the store that gets the most cases but it also gets the highest attendance. There are easily a hundred people every K-day. What area (generally) are you in?

@cuttyflamsH I don't live down in the south-bay area. I live in East Los Angeles. I don't go to the one closest to me because I don't like the way that it is run. Besides, I like going down there to see friends and other collectors that I don't get to see too often.

i just got back from kmart and they had exclusives from the k-day on 9/18 and 11/6! i bought every single one they had

@123456hotwheels I noticed lots of the yellow car with FTE wheels, a few green Willy's, but I didn't look around for the others. When you think about it, even the special cars aren't rare. There are 1382 Kmart stores across 49 states. If stores got 18 cases on average, two sets of exclusives per case, that's at least a production run of 50,000 for each car. That's a lot! So if you like exclusives, they are pretty cool. But for those who think that they will become valuable, probably not.

Well wish me luck this go around and this time I'll have a video of the event. So yeah if there arn't 16 of the 36 car inner cases then we'll know my location didn't save them all for the event. I'm gunna call the other location near me and see how many master cases they are getting. if I get a chance I'll see if I can get to the pixar event.

Just a quick question I have gettin ready for the Nov 6th collector day I ask my local K-mart manager how many master cases they are getting she said two master cases. How many small cases is that?

@z1546796 Dennis, I think it is eight but I'm on a dial-up computer right now. Can you watch the video again, see how many inner cases I said were in that stack and then divide by the number of big boxes that I showed to the side? By the way, I think tomorrow is Pixar K-Day. I'd like to go and get a McQueen Chase and that's about it. I don't really do the rubber-wheeled cars anymore.

@racegrooves you said 56 cases and on the right there are 5 big boxes which is roughly 11 per a. I counted the pile and it looks like 40 cases and at 5 boxes that means 8 small boxes per master.

@z1546796 OK, then it should be eight inners per master case. One reason that I showed the number of cases that were put out was because something didn't add up. I think that collectors should know how many master cases are shipped to each store so that we can keep tabs on whether the stores are saving them for the event and that all of them are made available to attendees and none are opened up or pegged before the event.

@MrJonnathan2007 If you get your number called in the raffle, it just means that you get to open the case and PURCHASE what you want. The cars are not free.

@formulaonehotwheel The big Hot Wheels Collectors Convention is coming up in a few weeks. Ticket sales close in a few days. The website is hwcollectorsconvention. You can figure out the rest because YouTube blocks links in the comments.

@nene213 Almost all of these will be available nationwide. The four that are exclusive to KMart were the ‘92 Ford Mustang (blue), Triumph TR6 (yellow), ‘41 Willys (green), Olds™ 442™ (black).

@Nitrosoultaker777 I'm glad that the Nova will be a regular issue and that it was just "first to market" in the Kmart cases. I will be picking up a couple extras! Congrats on your Baja TH. I only find a few a year. I usually go to the Convention in Los Angeles and get the basic TH's for $2-3 each.

@ricerboy100 Where are you at? At least most of the stuff will be widely available. The Race Team Nova is very cool! I don't get to be at the stores when they open anymore so it was very awesome to be able to see brand new product.

@ricerboy100 That must be frustrating knowing all the cool cars that are out in the world. Yes, you need to get an Ecto! This was the first one that I got on a good card and I opened it up for you guys anyway :) I have another one loose in my case and another one that I put in the downhill racing tray at my parties. I took off the black plastic attachment though for the parties because it's going to fall off and get lost anyway. Have fun!
