Transit needs bi partisan input, and general public consultations,across the entire region. Consensus by the public is essential, but Campbells appointed mob are not open to frank public/taxpayer input.

Good video of the short trip between Aberdeen and Brighouse. It's a few years since I've been on No. 3 Road and it seems to be unrecognizable now with the elevated guideway for Canada Line. Reminds me somewhat of the streetscape in Bangkok following construction of their Skytrain.

How much is Campbell charging the poor old taxpayers for this train ?

Whatever the taxpayers are being charged, this is long overdue. And we need more of the same! Mass transportation must be made easy, kewl, comfortable, fast, convenient and so on.  Whatever it costs, it'll cost more in the long term for us to keep our cars and burn non-renewable resources until we run out of them. Then what? How much will the taxpayers pay then?
