  • Wow great playing.. thank you so much! Shawn Lane playing this is probably one of my favorite performances ever made ... along with him playing Death Theme and Epilogues for Lisa (live).

  • You have a really nice overdriven tone mate! What gear were you using in this vid?

  • @Lymesloop i think it was just my guitar into a johnson millennium jm250. for the overdriven stuff i was probably using a bk butler tube driver too

  • Hmm I wonder why The Shadows never thought of doing this.

  • I wish my strat would stay in tune. fuck

  • great dude, cant you make the tabs ? and i have a question does some one got the tabs or knows wher i can get the tabs from ("The Quick and the Dead" the gun battle between the kid and harold ) you hear a song with trumpets and guitar ?

  • Hey dude? How did you make the background sound track in tune with you at the beginning? Or was that a different song?

  • Good job dude! This seems to start off in the key of C major where does it go from there cause i cant play lead all the Thur in C Major? Orchestrated chords? Now i got to think about what i play! I just like to blow my wad in C Major( A minor) ..And shred it like a total asshole in front of a girlfriend.

  • wow man .nice YM stratocaster

  • U FUCKIN ROCK, thats it.

  • how do you get this sound?

  • oh no the malmsteen sig. is the other red one an eric johnson?

  • very nice! are you using the tube driver in this song?

  • Scalloped neck. Are you perhaps also a Yngwie fan?

  • Hi, do you have the backing track of this? Thanks

  • i'm really upset i can't hit that super high bend that lane hits with my frets. looks like you'd have the same problem.

  • shawn had 24 frets, this guy has 21.

  • what amp u use for 2nd part?? i like it!!

  • Nice. Have you tabs for this??

  • nah there are no published tabs that i know of. wish i had some to send you

  • ok:)

  • @tritonefascination lol can u plz publish em somewhere!!!

  • Thank you! now I finally know how to play the intro!

  • where did you learn this?

  • by ear. this is the version from the AIM clinic where he played with andy timmons

  • love all your vids, especially the death theme from untouchables.

I've heard the scalloped frets makes you a better player when you go back to normal boards, is that true?

  • i think they do make you better when you go back to normal boards...with the exception of bending/vibrato. bending and vibrato are much easier on scalloped necks (assuming you have some control over pitch and touch sensitivity), but everything else is harder...atleast for me. it helps give you better feel and control with things like alternate picking so when you go back to normal boards youre better

  • what year malmsteen is that? its beautiful. ive got to get one

  • thanks. its an '07. i think there are a few differences, but mainly that the scallops are deeper.

  • very nice

  • not as nice as yours im afraid, but coming from you thats a real compliment. youre an incredible musician. thanks for taking the time to check out my stuff.
