So refreshing.

I worked in banking for years(did contract work for investors--lending, and so on) and have education in Finance/Economics(along with other less empirical disciplines).

It gets real annoying seeing those who lack knowledge in these subjects blame it on various non sequitors.

The government interventionist policies is the root problem, to paint with a broad brush... NINA's, Stated Assets, SISA's, and other various loans were simply "rules within the game".
