  • Did no one notice Steve Lukather/

  • Wat was that recorded for? Joe's new album? Leslie's new album? Or was it a jam they did for fun?

  • @epeemstr The jam occurred to do a song on Unusual Suspects, Leslie's new album, which made it to #4 on the Billboard's Blues charts, the highest ranking for the cult guitar hero in decades.

  • joe does more than just play good technically, let's just enjoy all of them and stop all the comparing, Joe respects leslie obviously and many who came before him, his live concerts are great, not one dead boring moment from start to finish, we all have our own styles in life no matter what we are doing, there's room for everyone.

  • @saidama1 Agree. Leslie and Joe represent the top echelon of guitar tone there IS in music today. These two are not just "business associates. They are friends, and that's crystal clear here. Lovely to see to monsters of guitar with no drama/egos etc. Just two proud hometown boys (and legends).

  • he shoulda gave leslie more room .;.;

  • Still don't like this guy's playing. I just don't buy into any of it. Never have. But oh well, I'm glad to see him honoring Leslie; That man's a true living legend.

  • @johnnyblingblong I agree. He plays way too technically the blues

  • that's how a song should be made just a jam then add vocals later!!! classic:)

  • that was great . and bcc is great- joe is my new hero.

  • Great post!

  • You should really listen to Bonamassa Live from Albert Hall. Amazing. Would like to hear him on a strat for a album.

  • @HandRpuffin Oh no doubt, Joe is already a modern guitar hero. He's the new wave. He hangs around those who came before him that KNOW tone. Joe's a "working man's" guitar hero. Those are the best kinds...

  • @HandRpuffin Listen to Blues Deluxe. Telels and Strats all day long on that one. But he's changed up his sound a lot since then.

  • KILLER thanks for sharing.

  • damm, i never heard or saw this before, joe playing his self, note for note. dammmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  • Theres something just right about Leslie Wests style - his vibrato is sweet.

  • 3:20 jizzztime

  • fuckin awsome guitar from joe and leslie

  • brilliant. The new album is braw.

  • Leslie West has the most unique and raw hand phrasing, vibrato and guitar tone in the rock history.

Lets be honest, if your name is not Leslie Weinstein from Forest Hills, NY born October 22, 1945, who's guitar sound always stood alone... then you are not the guitarist known as the King of Tone!!!

  • @depper Aint it the truth!

  • Glad you enjoyed it, Gbrycki.

European music gear site Music Radar was my source. Unusual Suspects is gaining traction all over the world. This is clearly an album for the ages. All signs are pointing at it being his greatest album since the early Mountain days.

  • Nice score, Depp! Where'd you get this? Thanks for sharing!

  • You're welcome Thecarlfia! ;)

  • thanks for putting this up!
