  • How about 2381 The Borg wars?

  • booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo you suck

  • I don't don't know how people think up of this stuff but it;s really awesome and i really like sci fi.

  • soooo many details was wrong in this video.....

  • @jackw7777 agree

  • I wouldnt restrain myself from knock'n on that ass!!

  • The Enterprise D was destroy in Star Trek Generations and The Enterprise E was in a hell of a good fight in Nemesis, but wasn't destroy.

  • Federation will probadly collapse

  • Data grows a beard??? 3:43 from which episode was that?

  • Wolf 359 was lost cause someone decided it would be a good idea to bring the families along.

  • lol 4:52

''Where no dog has gone before''

  • Wait what? The Enterprise was decomisioned? Didn't it blow up in a retarded battle?

  • @llamapi3 yup. Then again, Star Trek has a LOT of continuity errors

  • @llamapi3 Yeah you're right. I think Enterprise-D was destroyed in Nemisis.

  • @Arqera Generations actually

  • wtf klingons use disruptors not phasers

  • 2:12 "His son, Quinn, becomes the first human to transport."....*plop*

  • 2379 the enterprise d was decomission, the enterprise d was not decomissioned it was destroyed in the verdian IV in which the ship separated due to coolant leak after sustaining a heavy damage from a klingon bird of prey that had modified it torpedo to penetrate the shields of the enterprise, hence the kidnapping of Geordi Lafoge and why is the diminion war not stated as well as teh xindi encounter.

  • The entire starfleet history? Not quite. You forgot the Dominion war, not to mention the conflicts and treaties with the Romulans and the Klingons. Surely, the Neutral Zones played a large role in Federation politics.

  • @Forlo12345 exactly, they forgot the whole dominion war!

  • "Probing where no man has probed before." Get it?

  • They missed out the first Cardassian war, two Klingon wars, two Borg invasion attempts, the Dominion war and the Earth/Romulan war which was responsible for the formation of the Federation

  • hey ?!? and what about the war with Dominion??????

  • Fedoration of planets, when (or what version of star trek) was is sighned ?

  • It's weird..... the Enterprise is decommissioned, not crashed on the veridien III according to the STAR TREK : GENERATIONS?

  • it's a little bit weird.........according to the final part of the footage, the Enterprise was decommissioned ? not crashed on Veridien III following the history made by STAR TREK VII : GENERATION?

  • big bang aye? Mr. T you banged mother earth again didn't you?

  • I laughed. I like it :-)

  • Both hilarious and awesome.

  • As long as you agree with the federation everything is fine.

  • Federation is weak and pathetic peace alliance

  • The Enterprise (tm) wasn't decommissioned after the Borg; It exploded and then crashed into a planet.

  • @pykebert at the time it was made, it was rumoured the next TNG film would be with the borg.

  • The federation could never exist it would be totally undemocratic.

  • lol 300 years of history mentioned in 5 min. And if they ever mentioned the mistakes it would go beyond 5 min :)

  • A comment on your notes on this video. If you're getting a lot of correctionists and troublemakers trying to bully you in the comments you can always turn comments off for this video. I've heard a few uploaders saying that they do this because they know inevitably there will be trolls showing up for even a slightly controversial video.

  • For instance, my cable wrapping video may rankle a few cable wrapping purists out there with chips on their shoulders (yeah, they're out there) so I disabled text comments and video responses. All I wanted to do was share the video, I didn't want people to start being dicks/jerks in the comments. Turn off comments even if you get that inkling in the back of your mind that a video may attract those types of people.

  • You have full control over comments and you do not have to honor the Bill of Rights here. ;)

  • Am I correct to say that there is a Zion Archive A.I. feel to it from the Animatrix... I was just wondering. It sounds like it.

  • The United Federation of Planets of other Earthlike planets of Sana Hayabusa Humankind declare war on the United Federation of Planets, in the 30thcentury, is a states of political war against Earth, because abuse Sana too much long time ago en planet Earth, i challenge you!

  • This video is 90% incorrect, awful.

  • @80smusicfanNO1 Agreed.

  • I have to agree with antodav, it was cute but not substantial, and although I grew up with Next Gen, and admire Picard above all others the title of most Revered seriously belongs to James T. Kirk.

  • Come on people, read the info!!! We all know there are inaccuracies.

Btw, DantarBlade, remember that Voyager took out the whole transwarp network on their way back so that the Borg would have no way of getting to Earth anymore; it wasn't just one outpost.

  • This video invents a lot of stuff (some of it outrageous) and omits some very important things—like the Romulan, Klingon, Borg, and Dominion Wars for example. Also it makes some very specious claims like that PIcard is the most revered captain in Starfleet history...I believe that title belongs to Kirk.

  • This is a vid is really good made!!!! 5STARS!!!!

  • The enterprise was Destroyed in Generations... And there is no mention of the enterprise E which was reeleased around the same era voyager makes into the delta quadrant. On another note, Admiral Janeway gives Captain Picard orders in Nemesis also showing your timeline is off and very innacurate at the end.

  • trans warp aperture is how they got home

  • Haha...7 of 9 liberated again...

  • thank you for this vid

    mfg

  • one thing enterprise was never decomishind it was destroyed and enterprise wasnt in a final battle with the borg voyager destroyed the borg on the way home!

  • "Such three dimensional thinking." - The Borg Queen

Sorry, the Borg live on. They aren't quite so vulnerable as to be destroyed by a single ship. Remember, they lost much more than Voyager ever destroyed when they tried to contain an Omega Particle. I would find it rather ridiculous that one outpost's destruction would put the entire Borg at risk.

  • Which episode of Enterprise is it at the end?

  • I think it was cute (maybe might get some of my friends to watch it). The one and only thing that bothered me about it is that they used the motto for Starfleet Academy where it should've said "United Federation Of Planets."

    It's still cute though!

  • sum bit are wrong but over all ok

  • "2387 a terror vacuum In the Milky Way galaxy, fore the Romulan Star Empire had fallen, due to the Romulus had been swallowed up by a supernova."

  • I kinda do like Sky's version of Federation history, particularly the Enterprise-D being retired from service instead of being destroyed.

  • haha, listing all the important events

e.g warp invented, replicators n phasers then - data grows a beard pmsl

  • that was pretty cool, Thanks

  • How it ends after 2400...hint at STO, no matter how old this is?

  • I remember this on skyone, it was well funny! People REALLY need to read the description.

  • 2365, data grows a beard.

    i lold

  • that was soo stupid and fake

  • This was pretty cool!

  • "7 of 9 liberated again"LOL 4:21

But this is NOT the History of the Federation

its the History of starfleet but not the Federation

  • Didn't you catch one segment where they state that the Federation was founded (by Archer)............

  • @imdefender welcome to strar trek

  • @epigonoye indeed

  • @imdefender It's the history of the Star Trek TV shows. I doubt that a video on Starfleet history would include things like Data growing a beard.

  • @Tarvoc yea lol true I wasj ust saying that this is not what it clams to be

  • the biggest war ever fought was agianst The Dominion and it was barely mentioned...boooo

  • @ec2like

    Wasn't it the borg invasion??

  • Left out the V2, Sputnik, Gagarin...what a jingostic crap...

  • omg, this vid is amazing!!!! the end w/ Porthos is my favorite!

  • Who cares about the mistakes? It's funny! Just stop trying to point out every tiny inaccuracy and ENJOY IT.

  • Sorry to say there were many mistakes in this.....

  • man many misttakes, Enterprise D decomissioned after Borg invasion WTF.

  • So what if it's a little incorrect, i've never seen anything like this before and found it to be quite entertaining.

  • wait...how was the enterprise decommisioned...? Did they mean E or D? D went bye bye in Generations...and E was still up to par in 2379...so...huh?

  • I thought Picard did a pretty good job of wrecking the Enterprise-E in Nemesis when he decided to ram the Scimitar. Although I guess they did manage to fix it.

  • history of star trek not Federation.

  • this appears to be at least, partially accurate...but not accurate enough.

  • 2374, Seven of Nine liberated by Voyager. 2376, Seven of Nine liberated again.

    :D

  • HAHA!! Yeah, that's me favorite part!

  • That was nice.

  • I like this a lot. It's very well put together and looks almost professional.

However, there are a few things I didn't like. Why include Data's beard adventure? Or why exclude the Dominion War? I also would have liked to have seen more of TOS and the movies.

Other than that, it rocks out loud.

  • LOL @ 2:12.

  • Ah, haven't seen this for awhile. It's not official... its a commercial that use to play for Star Trek on English television.

  • this isn't supposed to be a serious chronology!

  • Right cause A lot of that was bull!

  • this is flawed

  • Indeed!

  • Hey that was great! But the enterprise wasn't decommissioned, didn't the Duras sisters blow it up?

  • lol hilarious :D

  • So many people miss a joke... this is why Star Trek is in trouble. :) Very nice.

  • And a bit of clip misplacements...

    And you NEGLECTED Kirk.

  • You need to watch Star Trek a little more...

    It's a bit inaccurate.

  • all that work and they messed up . some trek fans you are.

  • What is unique about the entire Star Trek series is that most of it is based on actual science. It's cool that this advanced stuff could actually happen one day.

    Here's hoping it does!

  • this is better then the damn terran empire

  • Besides inacuracey, I like the movie, Please make more, but acuraley this time

    =/\= Live Long And Prosper

  • enterprise d was destroyed at viridian 3 with the aide of the klingons, the borg transwarp portal made it possible for the voyager to return home

  • okay like the enterprise D was destroyed on a planet wen the warp core explorated pushin them into the atmospere and voyager came bk via the borg net not a warm hole god who made this vid ahha ask the fans first we tell u the propper info!!! HA x

  • some mistakes, but who cares...fun

  • id love to liberate 7 myself.

  • 2:12 is hilarious !

  • reading some of the comments it seems some of the dates are off but all in all a great video!

  • I can't wait to see the new star trek movie!!!! all you fellow fans must support trek in theaters december 25, 2008!!!!!

  • this is an awsome video and music but there is one big mistake, near the end when it says the Enterprise is decomissioned after the battle with the borg that's not what happened first of all the battle shown was wolf359 in the year 2366. Second the Enterprise was never decomissioned the stardive was destroyed and the saucer crashed on veridian 3. Other then that it was awsome great work.

  • The big bang part is from Odyssey 5.

  • Proloton go please spend your time watching something that doesnt require you to think im sure thats what you enjoy. Star Trek has given hope to many people and it has given hope for humanity even in the showdow of those like you. As a matter of fact many of pieces of modern technology are roughly based off of the technology seen in Star Trek. look it up and while your at it look up what Star Trek means to people before you go attacking them

  • Star Trek may be fake. But in our hearts, STAR TREK is real. Now stfu u STAR TREK hater. STAR TREK RULES SCIFI,

    STAR TREK SUPERIORITY

    STAR TREK FOREVER!

  • Whether or not the vid creator has got all the "facts" straight, I'd like to point something out: Star Trek is fake. It is fiction. As such there are in reality no facts to act like such asses about, you anal clownshoes. All pissed off over a fairy tale. You know the story better, good for you. Still a story.

  • very nice but like previously stated, almost all of your information either is just plain wrong, or it has a wrong date. Just a bit of advice, do your homework before you try to teach the class.

  • Errrrr, just a bit of harmless fun, some people are taking it tooo seriously, sad bunch :)

  • That was absolutely brilliant. Nice job.

  • 2365 data grows a beard : was that really necessery it appers it was as it made me laugh lamo

  • And some other things to add: USS Voyager made it back in 2378, not 2377. And the USS Enterprise- D was destroyed in 2371, and the Enterprise- E was not decommissioned in 2379, it only got a refit, after the movie "Star Trek Nemesis."

  • adcualy it was 2377 because it was less then 7 years after caretaker.

  • 2064 First Contact!?! It was April 5, 2063. Transporters were invented in 2151, not 2154. The holo deck in invented in 2151. Food replicators are introdused in 2265

  • love the voice. this tour is too shor and covers too many unimportant things and leaves out too many important things out as well.a few too many facts wrong as well, a borg transwarp hub was used. NOT a wormhole. and i believe some of the dates are wrong as well 2154 was not the start of the transporter use. it was 2151

  • um janeway didn't get back through a wormhole...it was a transwapr conduit

  • the enterprise D was not de-comishend it was destroyed get the facts right but other then that good stuff

  • your forgot the Dominion War that nearly brought the federation to its knees.

  • Also Wolf 359 and Battle of Sector 001.

  • I knew alot about star trek,But that was just Bloody Great.thanx for going where no-one has gone before.

  • well done

  • I thought it was good up till 2:30. It just glosses over the creation of the Federation and the member planets and in showing the earth in relation to the other member planets, the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Empire. The Organians and what they did.

Operating factions close to home: Orion Syndicate. From 2:30 seconds it becomes a history lesson on the captains. Anyway the title is to me now misleading. I loved the production overall. WOW!

  • Since they had the "Data grows a beard" thing, it would've been funny to have "Riker grows a beard", and then "Sisko grows a beard".

  • "Data grows a beard"

    ...

    Heh heh XD

  • so coo I remember this

  • I have an explanation for the historical inaccuracy. This is meant to be an educational vid to be shown to visitors to the Federation. a.k.a. PROPAGANDA. If you were a visitor to the UFP, which would you rather hear? The flagship of the Federation decommissioned with distinction after a victorious battle with the galaxy's most feared enemy, or crashed onto an insignificant planet by the ship's counselor after having its ass handed to it by an antiquated Klingon scout ship? Yup. Thought so.

  • Lol that is hilarious, but very true.

  • but phase weapons brought to earth by klingons ??is this cannon , first klingons mostly use disrupters(and Klaang weapon looks like the typical klingon disrupter, even if it has a phase beam coming from it )i got the impression that the phase pistols where something humans had been working on for a few years , or did they really just nicked off the klingons

  • the voyager got home by a borg transwarp portal and the enterprise-d got pwned and then the Soverign Class Enterprise-e which was going to be the U.S.S Rhode Island was rename and recommsion as the Enterprise

  • tanis you are wrong, the enterprise D did not get pwn3d,it was shook off course by the stardrive sections explosion,if it didnt crash land onto the planet there would still be an enterprise D,just with a new stardrive.

there is no evidence at all that it was called rhode island at all, ditl is the most cannon star trek database on the web,and all it says is.

[quote]led to a last minute re-christening of another ship as the USS Enterprise, NCC 1701-E. [quote/]

  • Some inaccuracies, but still pretty good!

  • i think i've seen this on sky 1 early in the morning between programmes.

  • Most revered captain? Don't think so!

  • They forget about mention about very important events about 'Borg Invasion' and 'Dominion War'.

  • They need a fact checker! Voyager gets home through a wormhole??

Still, it's a fun idea. Thanks for sharing.

I'm gonna go gag some more over that "Seven liberated again" crap. Not only was that an awful scene that NEVER happened, the spin given here is sexist as hell.

  • that scene did happen, like the last or second to last episode. i'm pretty sure it was the last one. whatever. they got a lot wrong here, kind of pissed me off.

  • Picard 'cloned' by borg? Enterprise D decomissioned after a battle with the borg? Nice try Sky but get a trekkie to help nextime! lol

  • You would hope that they would get their facts straight. "The Enterprise was decommissioned after a vistorious battle with the Borg." When did this happened. They show a Galaxy class starship, destroyed in "Star Trek: Generations, and not by the Borg. The Borg never destroyed any Enterprise ship.

  • to bonely go were no dog has gones before

  • Amusing but the last entry - Enterprise decomissioned after confrontation with the Borg - HUH???

  • Rather amusing!

  • Seven of Nine liberated again?

  • "Dark Frontier" is my guess.

  • this makes me cringe like a bitch skys biggest mistake since dropping DS9

  • i think this is meant to be funny. Come on, they were doing a character profile on sisko, saying he liked playing the piano, when that was only one episode.

  • its very nice done!! like it!

  • haha, good comments I agree with most. There was a good concept here and great special effects, just needs more research.

  • You'd also think they would mention the greatest conflict in Federation history(Dominion War).

  • You'd also think that they'd dedicate more than 4 seconds to events set during the Original Series.

  • You would think the UFP could make their 'history' more accurate...

  • This is surprisingly innacurate. I could give a dozen examples of how this video is wrong.

  • The history at the very end was wrong, the Enterprise-D was not decommisioned, it was destroyed in Star Trek: Generations.

  • I think that when they said the Enterprise was decommissioned, they meant that the TV series ended. It's all a bit tongue in cheek.
