  • i know an excercise i would love to do with her that also makes my body look great...

  • @Iluv2swim07

Thank god someone said something and I'm not the only one thinking only a 50?! Haha

I'm specializing in sprinting the 50 and 100 free, breast and back haha I suck at fly

  • I don't know, I've been swimming competitively for over 15 years...you should really do more than just a 50 to warm up, like stretch first, then at least a 300. and for those of you with stamina issues, 3-4 times out of a 7 day week isn't enough. one day out of the water is like missing 3 days of practice. Swimming is intense and if you want to build it up don't do something else to make it a bit easier push through some. 20 laps should be able to be done in like 10-15 mins MAX. really.

  • @iluv2swim07 Any tips for burning fat while swimming whilst not stripping muscle??

    1) When in the day to swim

    2) Interval training vs continuous laps

    3) What intensity is best, do the same rules apply for fat burning as land based sports?

    4) Eating before and after training

    THanks

  • Girl, you must put a swimming cap on. That's against rule.

  • or maybe hes just old

  • i think richard gordon needs to start swimming more.

  • whatever

  • for my exercise i do 50 sit ups, 30 push ups, 50 squat jumps.

then 200 meters front crawl, 200 meters just your arms and 200 meters just your legs.

then for the serious bit i do 1000 meters front crawl, is that good?

  • instead of doing a 1000 free,

break it up into hundreds and do them on a tough time base that leaves you about 10 seconds of rest inbetween. You should be going pretty fast. Try the one miniute thirty seconds. if thats too fast try the two miniute, you should be quite tired by the 6th one or so, and not catching your breath inbetween.

  • all the answers ive been looking for however one i still need to ask if someone would be kind enough to answer it :)

i find it hard to swim frontcrawl because i dont have the stamina! should i start off by swimming breaststroke, 30 seconds for each length? and start building myself up! also it doesn't help that i have long hair because it gets in my eyes yet i don't want to cut it :( im pickled in what to do!

if someone could help me that would be really nice :)

  • yea start of wi the breaststroke n wirk yur way up...ive done competitive swimming 4 a ni,of yrs and i hav alot of stamina nw!!

emm the long hair ya ever hear of a hair bobble and swim hat!??!?

  • ahah!! yea somehow i don't think i will wear a swim hat! actually ive cut my hair now.. alot shorter than before...

and now i actually swim alternating in my strokes!

so one length breaststroke and then one front crawl! do abuot 40 lengths in total every time i go (3 to 4 times a week)

so yea! imjust going at it slow for now but sooner or later i should be getting good..

    fanx

  • it took me a half a year (or a year even) to be able to swim 45 mins straight. i started 5 mins, next week 10, one month 20, then 30mins... now i do 45mins.

yea and wear a swim hat, and i like ear putty and goggles too. and a swimsuit is better.

  • wear a swim cap!

  • haha i have short hair now so it doesn't bother me.

  • you know what, if she had goggles, this would be a lot easier

  • I like this chick

  • omg fuck man she totally sucks at swimming

  • Is the 'length'25 yards long?
