These guys have great voices, but I really love this song, and besides the words it sounded very little like the Defying Gravity that I know. Im kinda strange, but when I like a song I want it to stay true to the melody. They just tried a little too hard here.

This is absolutely beautiful....for those of you who "arent saying anything negative"....it's their rendition....they are broadway artists who respect it in its original form. They made a different rendition of the song....no one said you had to like it. It's lyrics are beautiful and touching regardless....that's the improtance. But ANYWAY.......I loved this....harmonies are excellent. I wish they would record this cause I SO wanna choreograph to it!

i think that if you only have something negative to say you shouldn't say it, unless its criticism keep the negativity to your self. creativity and exploration is beautiful whether its your thing or not. i personally adore this arrangement just as much as the original. it is different but thats why it is so great.

Okay, good voices, and I know their gimmick is they're all tenors so they *have* to try to sing as high as they can, but really, putting a song into so high a key that they have to completely rewrite the melody? A much less interesting melody at that? Sorry, that's just sad; if the lyrics were actually that good, Schwartz would have written a poem, not a song.
