Nice! I just bought one used, but modded to run on a 4s 2200. 1.5 to 1 power ratio, vertical takeoffs, 90 mph flat. Its awesome! Have fun with yours, hope it still flies.
Nice rendition of the Canadian Tiger Meet Hornet although the Real aircraft is a regular Hornet and this appears to be a model of a SuperHornet. Still cool!
lol, I still cant get over how easy these F-18's are to fly, still not a beginners plane though, but a real blast for those of us who have one lol....
So upsetting, I bought the old version of the Exceed F/A-18 and it was a fail =( Crashed on the 2nd flight due to horrible BEC, which cut all my control at 7 minutes. Oh well.
i feel rather cheated.the 2 minutes went by so fast i was just gettin into the flight and BAM!you landed.i wont complain to anyone though:)great job guys!again
Nice plane and flying Dave. I hope you guys remembered to count all your fingers and toes when you finished flying. It looked damn cold out there. ha ha ha Love your vids. Peace.
i think we got around it by spelling it differently or something. im from Queensland(Hot) so not many "Ugg Boots" get sold up here lol. they are an inside out sheepskin.
Yes your right Dave that is one sweet looking bird mate and that landing was spot on my friend,Jeff is a lucky man to have a flying buddy like you who live so close too, thats the way to fly 5*
I dont replace anyting, unless I break them. I dont know what low quality parts are unless they break. I always look for ways to strengthen any weak areas that I see and I always always always preflight the plane before flying.....just like in real planes.
Never heard of that happening. But I have seen real planes snap wings by over stressing in the air. I try to fly scale, with low wing stress G's with jets, myself.
Very nice landing there MR.!!!
"Spot" on. :)
Cheers.

Pretty nice. I wish they werent so light, as they have not much momentum in the wind, but they can really haul and are fun though. Glad your enjoying

this bird seems to be the one i will get. how fast do you think it flys. how much fly time do you get from one battery.
bigkenny51 3 years ago
It is just under 100 MPH. I can get about 9 minutes wide open, and maybe 12 or more, just cruising around.
NightFlyyer 3 years ago
is it foam or plastic?
light919 3 years ago
Foam, but stronger than balsa.

imusbbored76 3 years ago
Never new that. Nordstrom still sells UGGS. What are they really?
NightFlyyer 3 years ago
Very cool. Q: on your fishing helicopter video how much does youtube pay you per click?
scotts5306 3 years ago
Nothing. I only get paid if people click on the ads and buy something.

another great video!
i've been meaning to ask, do you get any noticable increase in thrust or lift when it's that cold and the air is denser?
cyberteque 3 years ago
I doubt it, the lipo batteries these planes use are extremely sensitive. When they are cold they do not perform as well as they would warmish-hot
forrest225 3 years ago
Been lucky with my batteries. I dont let them get too cold before I fly though.
NightFlyyer 3 years ago
I used to notice it with gas and prop jobs, as we used to fly in rain. They always flew better and didnt stall as easy.
NightFlyyer 3 years ago
I just love the F-18, looks fantastic ! Well done. And now a nice warm brew to defrost Dave and Jeff. LOL

It's a nice plane to fly, but I just didn't like the quality of the foam, it was too rigid. My elevator snapped in flight. 0_0

Never heard of that happening. But I have seen real planes snap wings by over stressing in the air. I try to fly scale, with low wing stress G's with jets, myself.
NightFlyyer 3 years ago
Yeah, I just don't like the type of foam it was made of. It flew VERY well (and fast) I made a trade with my friend for a Twist 30. : )
