  • One of the best and wildest band that ever played Jazz and boogie ! Memorable musicians and singing to match ! Keep on smiling even if you are not the Sheikh of Araby !

  • Great album ! I will take an LP over a CD ANYDAY!

  • Too young too have ever seen Louie, but did get the op to see Keely when I lived in NY. Her voice was still really good. I was at a party with the white-water club I belonged to. Basically the people range from 30 to 60+, the DJ was about 70ish. So I go over with my long hair & asked if can I make a request. He said "sure, I might have something you like, I got Motley Crew, Rage ..."well, I thought you might have something good like Louie Prima or Woody Herman". He was delightfully surprised.

  • Sam was such a good sax man and arranger, sorry he's gone. Keely performs in NYC sometimes.

  • Thanks for posting this cool groove! I just found this same Louis Prima LP at a yard sale for $1, good score I think! I listened to this with headphones and the sound is really excellent. Wondering if you ever caught Sam & Keely in Vegas. I heard they still gig there. I watched a documentary about Louis on new year's eve, what a treat!

  • @HunterMann I haven't seen any shows of the sort, although if Keely is still doing stuff I wouldn't mind seeing her.
