  • belt the shiznit out of it

  • the singing needs to be more confident.

but the guy who played seymore had an amazing broadway voice.

    i love it.

    sweet.

    he has to be gay.

no straight guy has that much talent on stage.

  • wow, that was rude

  • RUDE!? no no no that was a compliment!

  • He's my friend, and yeah.. he is gay. Haha.

  • he has an amazing voice

and the best performer up there

  • I agree.

  • wow, seymour is killin' that shit! ;-)

  • ok brian! get that shit!

  • Seymour uses way to much vibrato

It would sound better if he saved it for more worthwhile notes

  • Every trash can had to be in a perfect spot for the lights to perfectly shine on them; we'd spend literally all day and night on weekends just doing small touches like painting and making trap doors all over the place. If you went to see CATS, you'd remember the christmas lights that were placed all over the stage - I personally put those up over a period of two "set building" Saturdays which were from 9am-3am the next day.

  • Hey Tim Ton - we obviously know that this didn't compare to the CATS set and costumes, because you had parent involvement and MONEY.. which we didn't. We built it all ourselves. But i'm glad you liked *some* of the show. Best of luck to WPTC next year!

  • If you put a light on a window, it reflects and it blinds you. That's why if you're working with windows, you MUST be sure that there is never a glare. That's what we did with the CATS set: we had a window up at the very top and we spent over ten hours trying to get the lights right and the glare gone.

(comment continued, YouTube has a stupid limit)

  • You have to remember that, in theater, the audience pays for the ticket. You need to make sure that EVERYONE in the audience is happy with their seat, no matter where they decided to sit. For CATS, we only used the spotlight where absolutely necessary, and we used it up in the light booth so that the audience wouldn't get distracted by the light or sound that the old thing emits. We also utilized the stationary stage lights to its maximum capacity, so it made our work a little easier.

  • At some points the Directors thought the spot was teh best thing. plus the lady that controld the booth is a senile old bat that has no idea wahts she's doing, we ahd people sining in the dark. then we just had to put the spot on to light up the stage. we work with what we have. We always have issues with sets. I didn't build it but I think it was the best they could manage. CATS is and easier set to build, nothing blocking every one.

  • Oh, how can I testify to that! CATS was the worst set to build. Why? Because our director INSISTED we make EVERYTHING perfect. (continued)

  • Good singing. Love to see Brian back on stage since ACC!

Unfortunately, this production has horribly bad choreography and set. I was sitting in front of the window and the spotlight blinded me for about 75% of the show. Not comfortable at all! Take all this in serious consideration for next year's show. The drama club at RHS needs to start making better sets...

But then again, I may be a bit biased because I am stage manager for Wyoming Park Theater Company. ;)

  • We were having issues witht the spots. It was most likely mine that was blinding you (how I have no idea) but if they didn't suck then there wouldn't be a problem. And Sarah and Jordan are the best, you just wish cats was as awesome. :D

  • uhm, we sold out 3 of our 4 nights.

  • Choreography wasn't that bad, maybe some casting issues. For cats we raised ALL the the money our own self. In 3 months, so rogers really has no excuse for bad set and choreography unless they arn't getting the right people.

  • yeah brian! i'm glad i finally get to see some of the show. =) thanks for uploading this!

  • Who's the dork in the red hat?

  • it's me.

  • was that a serious question??

  • Awesome spot lighting ;D

  • Yea!

  • WOO! Go RHS Little Shop! We're so awesome. =3 Do you have Suddenly Seymour you could upload too?
