  • @martiganduxe Why thank you! I'm glad you found it useful. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!

  • Heayy men, you are cool :D

    Tnx

  • irei testar, mas muito obrigado. brasil.

  • @MOIMORTAL You're most welcome; it should work :)

  • it doesen't work for me at step two (1:53 )

    DEBUG path: windows not found

    DEBUG path: windows not found

    DEBUG path: winnt35 not found

    please help :)

  • @brightsidebruches This is the information that I usually give people on this step (when explaining in person in detail):

"Offline NT Password & Registry Editor now needs to know the exact location of the Windows Registry. Except in the rarest of occasions, the default location will be the correct one.

Press ENTER to accept the default Windows Registry path of Windows/System32/config."

You are clearly one of those very rare occasions. What operating system are you using?

  • @Musicarta I am using win 7 ultimate. What exactly version it is I don't know because I cant log in to my laptop.

  • @brightsidebruches Sorry. I'm at a loss here. All I can advise is trying another password remover. There are others on the Hiren's BootCD, if you can work out how to use them. Sorry I could not be of more help here, but it has never happened to me, and I simply don't know how to go about troubleshooting this particular problem.

  • @Musicarta Sorry I am failed here :) In step one I typed 2 then enter and it was successful! and finally I removed my password!!! thank you!

btw when I was typing username the program cannot find it even users with RID so I simply typed User and its worked also if you using asus you can boot cds without changing BIOS settings by typing F8.

  • @brightsidebruches Great to hear it. Yes, I didn't change the BIOS in this video either. I used the boot menu which happens to be F12 instead of F8 on my computer.

  • @Musicarta It worked perfectly fine for me on Vista. Thanks man!

  • Bravo uploader.

    Thanks very much.

  • @k0ki5 Thank you very much for commenting; I really appreciate your support!

  • Thanks a lot man, worked like charm. Great tutorial too!! Your efforts are appreciated!

  • does this work for removing administrative passwords like the ones you find on library or school computers?

  • @arrages23 It's unlikely I'm afraid. This really serves the purpose of your own personal Windows user account that you have forgotten your password for. Or perhaps someone has asked you to fix their computer but they forget to tell you the password etc. etc.

  • working with lenovo thinkpad ?

  • @MrXrifen This process should work on any computer running Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7, so yes, it should work on your Lenovo Thinkpad.

  • superb work man! a bit complex but very effective.. PAssword removed~!

  • @saalmaan1310 Thanks again for commenting! Have a great day!

  • cn someone help me do i press f8 when i boot or something need help!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @youngstunna2264 Please read the description before asking questions in the future. Copied from description: 'If you are having trouble booting from the CD (eg. you can't find a boot menu like in the video on your computer) then please watch my video on How to change the Boot Order in the BIOS here: (link in video description).' Have a great day!

  • hey man I owe you my life thanks

  • @TheRaversArmy No problem; I'm glad I was able to help you out!

  • at 2:00 in whenever I click enter at that part, the text just keeps repeating itself and wont go any further. Why is that? Please help!!!

  • Help please. I have a strange error. Right after the first step of choosing the partition (!:48)

It says NTFS signature is missing then it trys the FAT variants then gives me an Error. NTFS probe returned error code 12

Strange because my frives are NTFS. but are Raid 0. could that be the problem :S

If so PLEASE adivse. Thanks in advance

  • thnx helps a lot..

  • Hi i have a problem using it when i load up the cd after i went to password changer its saying boot: ___

enter to boot or give linux kernel boot options first if needed?

    please help

  • @zeeg123 Sorry. I'm not sure of the exact problem here. My only suggestion to you is to try and burn the Hiren's BootCD to a different CD and see if that works. Are you sure you're choosing the offline password changer as it would seem from an error message like that that it is trying to boot into linux (such as Mini linux on the Hiren's BootCD)?

  • does not work on win 7...sorry... it stops in the middle.. on pakard bell. pc

    anyt houghts

    pls advise..qmx007@hotmail.co.uk

  • @qmx007 I will be able to help you more easily if you can tell me at exactly which point the process stops working. Perhaps you could give me a time in this video that it occurred and I may then be able to help you troubleshoot this problem.

  • hey can you help me, i am trying to remove a phoenix bios password v 1.30 on my toshiba satellite a215 s7437. i did everything exactly what you did for your video on creating hirens boot cd. i have the cd but when i put the cd to my laptop nothing happens! it just does what my laptop always did: it says loading toshiba innovation then it automatically says Enter Password! I clicked f12 for boot menu but t doesnt go there, it just says Enter Password !!!!HELP!!!!

  • @heroFANtom Hi. You should realise that each individual computer can have a different button to open the boot menu. From memory, I believe yours is F2 but I can't be certain. Anyway, it should say something like "Boot Menu F2" at the bottom of the BIOS (startup) screen. If not, and you can't find the boot menu, please read the description and click the link to watch my video on how to change the boot order in the BIOS to make the computer boot from the CD first. I hope I helped you out.

  • @rundas37 No problem. I'm glad you got it sorted out anyway. Have a great day!

  • @rundas37 Ok, I'll do my best to help you. Can you tell me your exact operating system(s) including if you have more than one. Could you also tell me the type of BIOS that you have (this is displayed some when you first turn on your computer, such as Phoenix AwardBIOS). I may then be able to help you.

  • I have used an amazing software for getting back the windows password. If you want to try than go to

    w w w r e s e t p a s s w o r d w i n d o w s c o m

  • @jordancollins1983 Why on earth would you want to pay for that software when you can use the Hiren's BootCD for free which works perfectly well?

  • it says error failed to copy registry file sam? what i do wrong /:

  • @OscarSanchez310 In my experience, if the SAM won’t load (like in your case), you’ve either chosen the wrong partition (on the first part) or there’s something “wrong” with the SAM file (could be a weird Windows issue, could be a hardware problem) or ONTP&RE simply isn’t going to work with your computer for some reason. It's not quite 100% effective, no password remover is. However, make sure you select the Windows partition on step 1.by typing the correct number followed by enter. Continued...

  • @OscarSanchez310 ...Continued (comment 2): Some computers, especially those with Windows XP or earlier, have a single operating system installed on a single partition on a single hard drive, making this a very easy choice.

If that's the case for you, just press ENTER to accept the default partition. Otherwise, type the number corresponding to the correct partition from the Candidate Windows partitions found list and then press ENTER. Continued...

  • @OscarSanchez310 ...Continued (comment 3): Windows 7 Note: Every Windows 7 PC will have more than one partition listed. In nearly all cases, the right partition to choose will be number 2.

If you're struggling to decide upon the right partition, there's no harm in trying the different numbers beside each partition until you get one that works.

However, if you still can't remove the desired password after using the correct partition, you could try Ophcrack (another tool) instead. Hope I helped.

  • thank you!!!

  • @Musicarta , bro the cd worked man you are very helpful thank you soooooo much :)

  • @humayoun11 I'm glad it worked. Thanks for commenting! By the way, I'm hoping to get Part 3 of 'How to use Nero Vision' uploaded by tomorrow evening. If not it should be the night after that. This time, I'm going to be importing more than just videos and taking a look at applying many effects. After that, it will be producing the project to a format for playback.

  • @Musicarta thanks alot Musicarta you are really helpful =)

  • I have also lost my windows seven password and I hadn’t any other admin account than I used a reset disk from this amazing website. You can go here :

    w w w r e s e t p a s s w o r d w i n d o w s c o m

  • @lucasbrown1983 One question: Why an Earth pay for that piece of software when you can use the Hiren's BootCD which is completely free, and works perfectly well as demonstrated in this video.

  • @Musicarta yeaah haha tottaly agree, i am making a cd right now the same way as you demonstrated so thanks alot :D

  • dose it work on desktop pc

  • @ALIASADist Of course! =) Any bootable cd will work on a desktop PC if it works on a laptop too, this process (removing a Windows password) included. They are no different, as long as they both have a CD drive/USB flash drive.

  • Gracias men

  • @Musicarta Please. I BEG you. PLEASE continue doing what you are currently doing so well - helping others. With this video and the video showing how to make the boot CD, I could AT LAST reset the password to the admin account on my computer, holding lots of very important files I needed. I cannot begin to express my appreciation, sir. Truly, you have helped me dearly.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart, as your videos are clear and concise, and very easy to follow. Dont stop helping!

    -Tom

  • @tomprice05 I've already acknowledged your comment on my other video but I saw this one too and I couldn't resist replying. Thanks once again for commenting and just to let you know in case you haven't checked out my latest videos, my tutorial presentation, quality (in sound etc.) and style has greatly improved in my more recent videos, primarily due to the fact that I have gained experience in video editing and presentation since this video was uploaded. My new mic also made a big difference.

  • i got to the last step were it asks to type in your admin account name, i typed it in and it says cannot find value . pleease help me =((

  • @mbkx250 Is the account listed under "Username" (with Administrator, Guest etc.) when you get to this point?

  • @Musicarta no its not

  • @mbkx250 Hmm, that's an interesting one. My only thought is that the account is a hidden admin account but that isn't very likely to be honest. I haven't got any other ideas for this one I'm afraid. Your account should be listed there and I'm not sure why it's not.

  • Thanks man, I was looking for this since I will give maintenance to a server and we have no clue of the mf password.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO!

    YOU SAVED MY LIFE!

  • @louquito21 Great to hear it. Thanks for commenting.

  • Thanx for the video

    It was very helpful

  • @kiraoman No problem. I'm glad it helped you out.

  • Perfect.

  • @GoOdMoNEyDaVE That's what I like to hear =)

  • I just got a bug, when it loads that verboose boot i receive this: "pci 0000:1c:03.1 can't find IRQ for PCI INT A; please try using pci=biosirq". some help?

  • @ucuucu234 Sorry. Not sure what this error means or how to go about fixing it. I have never come across it before. What do you mean verboose? When exactly does this error message occur?

  • extremely helpful video, my friends lil girl forgot her password, was able to delete the password and get in thanx to this vid. saved her a bunch of time and money (and got to be the genius hero too, lol) thank you!

  • @Yutraya I'm glad my video was able to help her. Thanks for commenting.

  • Finally!!! I get one that actually works!!! THANK YOU so much!! =) Thumbs up

  • @wickedstealther32 Thanks for the feedback; I'm glad it worked for you.

  • nice one

  • Thank you so, so , so very much!

    it worked!

    you're awesome!!!!!!

  • @dominodut Great!

  • Dude.. thank you anyways but I got rid of the laptop :/ Thanks again for the advice and great job on your tutorial on how to make the hirens cd.

  • @CArteaga7 Ok. Thanks. I appreciate it.

  • ok so after i hit enter for the first time and i get to step two it says:

    windows not found

    winnt not found

    winnt35 not found

WHAT DO I DO! HELP PLEASE

  • @CArteaga7 I guess this must be because your Windows Operating system isn't installed in the default location. Trying hitting '2' and 'Enter' at the first step to see if that is that works. Also try hitting numbers '2-5' (individual attempts) and 'Enter' to see if that finds the right location. I could be of more help if I could see a screen shot of your screen at this point. You can send an email with the attachment if you want to the email address found on the 'Contact Us' page on my website.

  • @CArteaga7 hey! you have to choose your correct disk drive of windows. in the video the correct disk drive is the number 1, your drive can be different,.

IF you don't know, JUST try 2 time with different choose os drive.

    i hope a help you.

sorry for my 3nglisH from br4ZiL.

  • @marcoscavalicavali This is what I have already said when I replied to his comment (below) three weeks ago. Thanks for your input though.

  • LOL... Nice video man.

I was trying before and selecting all other options i terms of numbers and letters.

Didn't know it was just a case of pressing enter until usernames came up.

    Thanks man

  • THANKS FOR THE HELP

  • Hi ive got a problem i put the Hirents Boot CD 13.1 on my USB like you explained. However when i boot from usb on my netbook at first it says something like "try HD 0 :FAT32" then the menu loads and when i click password changer at first the text comes but then it freezes nothing happens. Theres just a black cursor blinking at the botton?

  • @faz7862 It sounds like a corrupt formatted drive. Try doing the reformatting process in the video again. If that doesn't work, delete all of the files and try the whole process again. As I have not had this error myself, this is the best I can suggest. I hope it helps.

  • @Musicarta I will look forward to seeing more from you on you virtual machine

    thanks Khutori

  • hi ya Musicarta

  • @khutori Yes, I apologise for the slightly shaky camera, but I now use a virtual machine to demonstrate this type of content. Thanks commenting; I really appreciate it.

  • Thanks so much...your tutorials are so well done...thanks for helping us to us "noobs" in learning how to use this great tools!! XD

  • @duendibri I really appreciate your comment; thanks a lot. I try to make my tutorials easy to follow and it's wonderful when someone recognises that.

  • Hi I have a problem...if i only press ENTER when it gives me the options of the PARTITIONS it doesnt work, so i give the number 2 partition where is all the windows installed (partition 1 has the boot and it wont let me) so when i get into the PATH, i just click ENTER and it changes to the options for removing password, when i try to place the user name i want to remove the password it wont let me!!! IT SAYS FAILED LOGIN COUNT: ...so please help: Hirens Boot Cd 13.1, Win 7 HP

  • @duendibri Do you still need help with this or have you solved the problem.

  • Awesome. I've been locked out my other computer for a while now. You just saved my life :)

  • @BouncerzBeat This is great to hear. I'm glad that I was able to help you out.

  • @MyChemRomancePwndYou Thanks. I'm glad that it worked for you.

  • Very clear instruction hat's off to you.

  • @TheJackassparty Thank you very much. I always try to make my videos as clear as possible.

  • So u need a cd???

  • @TheHockeyExpert31MTL Yes, I'm afraid you do but it is completely free (apart from the cost of a blank CD). I have made a video on how to create and run the Hiren's BootCD 13.1 for free. You could also watch my other video on how to run the Hiren's BootCD on a USB Flash Drive. It is possible to do it without making the CD.
