N yea he was fast as shit but when he got to the league he became a more patient runner... He wasnt as fast, but he could accelerate when he had to tho
How a nigga comment negative on a video of a person doin they thing lmao dat makes u hater im jus sayin..... Nobody forced u watch.. Nigga must b doin somethin if u take time out yo life to hate on em lmfao these youtubers b killin ya heard me
Great back, its a shame he was worn out before he hit the age of 30. His vision really contributed to his success more than anything; that's why throughout his prime he had one of the highest yards per carry averages in nfl history. He wasn't always a home run hitter, but you knew you were getting solid yardage everytime he was out there. A complete back. Redskins nation truly misses him.
Great upload. I always thought that portis was kinduva weird runner - i could see that he was very very fast, but speed does not a good back make, and i couldn't figure out how he was getting all those yards. he doesn't have the rabbit-like jump-cuts of a barry, or the stop-on-a-dime moves of marshall. i finally figured out that he uses a lot of stutter steps and hesitation moves - but he almost never "jukes" in the normal way that most backs do. what do y'all think?
@boing3887 Its his discipline and basics as a runner, he runs lower than any back you can name, you're right he cant stop on a dime like marshall or burn the entire team like Chris johnson but he's slippery, shifty and his vision sets him apart its his ability to remember what he's been taught in a game instead of throwing it all away like lets say an adrian peterson.
@KiDSprite12 dude it was florida you can find it on google where he said he wanted to go to florida smh where you get your information from??? wikipedia??? i get mine from the horses mouth
i been a miami since forever i am so glad he didnt go to florida yes that rite portis originally committed to florida but something happend so he choose the U...shows how much i follow the canes lol
Another great vid...KEEP IT UP MAN! It's all about this U! Watching Portis tear it up in person at the Rose Bowl in 2001 was kick ass! Best football experience of my life...period. It's a Canes thing, and U WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND.
Love the Canes, love the player, love the way you rep for our team! That's how I do!There my team win or lose!If they lost every game of the season,I'm still wearing my gear, still belive'n there gonna win.Still talking shit to other teams! They do the damn thing on one field or the other.College or Pro,check the probowl,Check the stats.leaders.Last off check the letter on our helmet,U,that means UNCONDICTIONAL.No matter what.
Sport is a manifestation of man, thus it is not to be worshiped at the extremes of emotion. Whether it is a positive or negative reaction, it matters not. There is virtually no difference between going to the extremes for sport and going to extremes for something like video games.
@IlikeBabiesForBreakfast I guess he thinks Cp is a quaterback lol

Don't you all forget, he was with the denver broncos first. We should have kept him and just shelled out the money for champ bailey.
