One of the main reasons that bands don't sound exact live, is because they have to wear ear plugs, which messes up the vocals the most. Yeah did you really think with those massive amps behind them they would not want them? I would like to keep my hearing if that was me.

If they sounded perfect live, why would you waste money to go see them when you get the same thing from buying there albums? And even before he got his lung infection, he was a great singer, you just couldn't tell with the way he speaks. Also, he has a PRS Baritone guitar which is heavier than the ordinary guitar, so it makes sense that he isn't jumping all around the stage.
