I am a Belgium citisen and i visited a church in Duffel (Flanders) where on the outside wall is a stone. That stone has the image of a count (family member of an old very important family named 'De Merode'. The face on that big stone in the church wall look EXACTLY like the face on the Turin Shroud! I think there is a big possibility that it is the image of that man in Duffel, Belgium that is on the Turin Shroud what was made in the mid-ages, maybe by Leonardo Da Vinci, also from Flanders!
according to an article i read from Readers Digest a long time ago. They allowed a team of scientist to examine this shroud of turin and the blood turned out to be an animal blood. The blood is what made the image on the cloth. After the report was publish, they do not want anymore test to be done with it. They actually thought that it would prove the authenticity of this shroud but the reverse of it happened.

@Gypsy085 If you look at the shroud, the head on it was decapitated. There is a gap between the head and neck. Christ was not decapitated. Also, carbon dating puts the shroud much later than the time of Christ. Anyone who does research can figure this one out. I'm glad you did! :)

The carbon dating can be explained by the fact that when they took the sample they took it from an area that was repaired later. Things are not always as simple as black and white. The earliest picture (painting) known of the shroud pre-dates the carbon dating results.

It's funny that in all these years nobody has even come close to reproducing this despite wanting to prove it's a fraud. Also the image is three dimensional. Lastly the carbon dated piece of the shroud was proven recently by the original scientist before he died, to be a piece of a patch added many years later to the shroud to cover damage. This scientist said the people were full of crap until he proved it to himself that they did use the wrong piece to carbon date.

I am a Belgium citisen and i visited a church in Duffel (Flanders) where on the outside wall is a stone. That stone has the image of a count (family member of an old very important family named 'De Merode'. The face on that big stone in the church wall look EXACTLY like the face on the Turin Shroud! I think there is a big possibility that it is the image of that man in Duffel, Belgium that is on the Turin Shroud what was made in the mid-ages, maybe by Leonardo Da Vinci, also from Flanders!

according to an article i read from Readers Digest a long time ago. They allowed a team of scientist to examine this shroud of turin and the blood turned out to be an animal blood. The blood is what made the image on the cloth. After the report was publish, they do not want anymore test to be done with it. They actually thought that it would prove the authenticity of this shroud but the reverse of it happened.

@Gypsy085 If you look at the shroud, the head on it was decapitated. There is a gap between the head and neck. Christ was not decapitated. Also, carbon dating puts the shroud much later than the time of Christ. Anyone who does research can figure this one out. I'm glad you did! :)

The carbon dating can be explained by the fact that when they took the sample they took it from an area that was repaired later. Things are not always as simple as black and white. The earliest picture (painting) known of the shroud pre-dates the carbon dating results.

The other thing that we have is that Jesus was buried in "burial cloths" not a single sheet or shroud. One glaring and obvious fact that the so-called experts tend to over look. "Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury" (John 19:40 KJV) "Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves" (Luke 24:12 KJV)

This supposed third piece was found by whom and recorded by whom? Who sewed the it back on to the main cloth? What historical documents did you gather this information from? Is this recorded in Scripture anyplace?

there is a thin piece of the shroud of turin which was removed and RESOWN onto the cloth. that is a fact...seams dont lie.
it is speculated that this might have been the third piece, seeing as how the main body of the shroud would be piece 1, the sudarium of oviedo piece 2.
after all, where ELSE would this thin strip of cloth have been? Its part of the original fabric, after all.
Look at the BBC documentary on the Shroud....if you actually care to listen to anyone but yourself.

The next logical step to take because there are no photos or painting of Christ, would be to research old coins, etchings on tablets, etc, to see what the Jews of Jesus time looked like. That would eliminate much of the guess work and artistic incense that the European artists took because they felt that Jesus should look that way. Did they have long thin faces and straight hair? What do non-mixed Jews look like today? Don't guess, do some research.

Having a long hair was a custom and a tradition between the Galileans, it's was a vow given to God not to cut the hair.
Jesus and John the disciple were Galileans, and both used to have a long hair.

Look at ancient mozaics and paintings of Jewish people. There are not too many. In all of them, the hair is very short. This is because it is a hsame for a man to have long hair.

The Shroud of Turin cannot be an image of Jesus Christ. The man in the image has long hair. Jesus Christ did not. We know this because Paul states long hair is a shame for men, and Paul's words were inspired by the Holy Ghost. If it is a shame for men to have long hair, Jesus could not have had long hair. Thus, the shroud is not an image of Him.

It's funny that in all these years nobody has even come close to reproducing this despite wanting to prove it's a fraud. Also the image is three dimensional. Lastly the carbon dated piece of the shroud was proven recently by the original scientist before he died, to be a piece of a patch added many years later to the shroud to cover damage. This scientist said the people were full of crap until he proved it to himself that they did use the wrong piece to carbon date.

Jesus is very tall, and has a weavy shoulder lenght hair, and mostly dressed in white.
Check " Video Musical del Programa Divina Misericordia " on Youtube, and see if it's the same Jesus you saw in your dream.
The picture in that video is the same picture Saint Faustina painted when Jesus appreared to her.

Of course its not a photograph of Jesus,but its the equivalent of,say,19th Century early black and white photography,particularly when this shroud was less creased and weathered and worn.The Shroud is authentic,I reckon.
