  • Free-staters must marry and reproduce faster than non-Free-staters.

    Keene Needs Women!

  • not to be mean, but I imagine there aren't many "hot" chicks in New Hampshire.

  • Pure Genius. Completes the internet shutdown/hand gesture trifecta.

  • 1:30 "Put your booty to work for Liberty!" ;)

  • lmao

  • Check out the neanderthal 0:26 scoping those girls out like he's at a meat market.

Ridleys on to something though. Sex can sell anything.

  • Since you obviously can't sell libertarianism to the masses based on its merits (or lack thereof) I think using sex to market your ideology is really the only hope you have of becoming more mainstream.

  • So is that really the correct RSS URL? It doesn't seem to work.

  • I would give the girly man p00lmangirl a (-) minus but youtube limits to the -10 . Haha he is such a fool.

  • WTF? Merry Xmas to all a Great Night, Thanks Dave for this season

  • Slap a wig on poolboy. He's over there in Korea giving BJs to get backstage at the rock shows. He'll do it here for a couple of bumps I bet.

  • Most NH girls dont have enough meat on their bones.

  • Bring on the dancing liberty girls! Yeah!

  • would someone get Dave laid please...

  • We're not miracle workers.

  • I think I speak for everyone. Anything could use some more hotties:P

  • I 2nd that sir.

  • Hotties for everyone!!!!!!

  • I'm sure there are plenty of channels people could subscribe to if ogling women is what you're at.

Dave, your target audience a little but more high-minded than this video suggests. I thought you were too.

BTW You've already had at least one young lady do adverts for you, the one about an essay contest.

  • I'm not high-minded at all...except where weed is concerned of course. Dave, I'll be glad to volunteer to record any hotties dancing...and my wife will ensure respect and safety for the models at all times because I'm really scared of her. LOL.

  • they single?? cuz i wannd date them both ridley.

  • Cause all the pretty girls want to throw snowballs at a federal building full of people that aren't even looking out the window.

  • The funny thing is that libertarians are the dumb blondes of the political world.

  • Yeah were the dumb blondes with the stupid but proven philosophies that Thomas Jefferson modeled the bill of roghts after. Google John Locke smart guy. When we run things, things dont fall apart. By he way just ask a libertarian about history , economics and monetary issues so you can see how much smarter you are than them.

  • There is no such thing as a proven philosophy, because then it would be fact and not philosophy.

Of course things would fall apart if Libertarians were in charge. They're anarchists at heart.

  • @p00lman

What's wrong with anarchy!? It's more orderly than statism! I mean take a look around at what's going on! Don't you see a bit of chaos in a supposedly orderly world?

  • Do you know what logic is? You should try it sometime.

Anarchy is the surest way to take us back to the stone age.

  • @p00lman

Do you know I'm a programmer? I require logic to survive.

If you are watching these videos, you must either be a troll or actually agree with Ridley on something. I don't know if he'd agree with anarchy, but he definitely agrees with a minimal government. Get out of here troll.

  • When you find your anarchistic society, how are you going to program if there's no power for you to turn on your computer?

  • @p00lman

That has nothing to do with government. That has to do with the market. Companies create the electricity, and service it out through their own contracted power lines (regulated by government, which is unnecessary). Companies are the driver there, not a government. That was a terrible argument.

  • And how are companies going to exist if there are no laws to guarantee their survival?

  • Laws don't guarantee their survival! Or at least they never did until bailouts. Businesses survive off of consumers, by paying them money or trading for other goods. That's economics 101.

    2 strikes. try again.

  • And if the employees take advantage of their employers, how will the employers stay in business? They won't be able to seek damages, they won't have a police force to report to, they can't sue for fraud. There would be absolutely no safety net.

  • Define "take advantage".

Your assumption that a system of justice cannot exist unless it is supplied by a cursively funded monopoly is as false as an assumption that without bread lines there will be no food.

I support the enforcement of justice -- I don't support theft, forced monopolies, or victimless crime.

  • If an organization does not exist to uphold the law, then who will?

  • The funny thing is that's coming from a talentless twit. You're not that bright, foolboy. I bet you're barely average in intelligence. Nothing you do or say shines. You act as if you're some brilliant thinker with astounding thoughts. You're blah. Your comments suck, your videos suck, and you suck. Dumb blonde. You're kidding right? What a dumb insult.

  • To be honest, I find an honest discussion is more important than political motives. I'd rather see Ridley create honest arguments in honest videos than the crappy pandering and spin he does.

  • I've always thought opening up with "to be honest" or "very honestly" is suspect. If you need to affirm your honesty now, it questions the integrity of your latter statements. It's as if suddenly, by mere volition, you are now speaking with honesty.

  • Ridley.. you dirty ol man..

  • sweet lord, those girls are hot. ain't freedom grand!

  • there's nothing hotter than a Liberty Cutie

  • 5star awesome thanks riddley

  • more ladies, more liberty

  • dave ridley i bet your single right? HAHAH i like the way your taping their asses LOL

  • lol. the last shot where he says "why not let the more photogenic members..." is hilarious. Nice use of cognitive disonance!

  • I have always had a lot of respect for Dave and his message, but this is trash.

Please do not do this again.

Phrases like sellout, mainstream media, and anchor bimbo come to mind.

Resist the FoxNews model of putting blond hair and a short dress on the news.

More of this will lose a lot of people.

  • sellout? anchor bimbo? if these types of words pop into your head when watching a ridleyreport, then there's something wrong with you....

  • Did you watch this video?

Those terms didn't pop into my head until I saw this garbage.

I guess liberty doesn't require morality.

  • What's wrong with you, telling someone else there's something wrong with him for forming an opinion that isn't yours?

  • idk what you're talking about here but sometimes opinions are wrong. And seeing the different between right and wrong is something you don't learn in school either. BOOM

  • There is no such thing as a wrong opinion, only the quality with which an opinion is expressed.

I guess you've never taken an ethics course. Boom.

  • Do me a favor..and I do not mean this in an insulting way but as serious dialogue...rather than tell us what's wrong with what we believe can you tell us what you believe in? What principles do you have that you feel are worth fighting for?

  • LOL i already said its something you can't learn in a classroom. Thank you.

  • Then you'd be wrong.

  • ego brain. man made shame.

  • Morals are educated. Your parents can teach them to you. Your friends can. Other adults can, including teachers. And you can learn them yourself.

  • sometimes we are wrong. We can grow from being wrong when we accept it.

  • That has nothing to do with what I just said.

  • Comment removed

  • What the fuck are you talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • the programs you learn in a classroom are just data for your ego brain. Only the spirit can understand and grow from ture life lessons.

  • That doesn't make any sense.

You can learn anything anywhere. You can take an important lesson away from anything, whether it's formal instruction or not.

  • What the fuck is this "spirit" shit? Are you talking about religion?

  • again i refer back to my point.. something you can't learn from books that are nothing more than data to program into your brain.

I am talking about the ability to make the decision whether something is right or wrong. You are right that the brain can be educated(programmed) before the fact to make the choice in a given scenario. But if a new instance were to occur the brain alone can not make the decision. A higher power (spirit) can only make the right decision.

  • If you're talking about "higher power," then you're talking about religion.

    Which I'm not.

  • call it spirit, religion, faith, whatever. I like to think of it as personality.

  • Yes, clearly this is a concept that exists in your own head and not in the greater world.

If you try to start a discussion, it's best to talk in terms that everyone can relate to.

  • You advocated that I go to church, as if church isn't another form of education.

  • i advocate you try something different.

I don't mean the church institutions. There is higher learning to find around those places. If you're looking for the higher learning it might be a good place to start. But i also mentioned art classes.

  • but honestly if you want to find higher learning you just look inside yourself.

  • Are you accusing me or lacking morals?

  • I can not be the judge of your moral fiber. I

  • you were right all along. there is no such thing as a right or wrong opinion. It is the choices that we make from our opinions that can be right or wrong. Thank you. I have learned much from this conversation.

  • I hope you're being serious.

Because it's not wrong to think, "I wanna kill that guy," and it's not wrong to say to a friend, "I wanna kill that guy." But it's wrong if, you know, you actually kill that guy, or threaten to kill him so as to provoke fear.

If you want to get religious about it, humans are aware of temptation. We have to know temptation and be able to comprehend it in order to deny it. Morality dictates we don't give in, but we can still think about it.

  • thank you for helping me understand. sincerly

  • Do you support stealing the property of your neighbors?

  • What does this have to do with anything, and why would I?

  • There's this gang of people who send me extortion letters every six months or so, saying that if I don't send their organization cash they will steal my home.

I was wondering if you supported it.

  • Really? Is your situation legally prearranged?

  • I've signed no agreement with this gang, if that's what you mean.

  • Are you sure?

For example - and I'm sure this isn't what you meant - the US government, which taxes its people, is legally entitled to do so, and the American citicizens have an agreement to respect and uphold the constitution that gives it these rights.

  • Ah, yes! That's the name of the gang. So, when you say "legally entitled", do you mean that the gang itself says it has permission to steal my stuff? Don't you think that's a little circular? I mean, if they granted themselves permission to enslave, or kill me, would that be ok too?

And, who exactly formed this agreement you speak of? Surely you don't believe a bunch of other random people can make an agreement that's binding on me, without my permission.

  • 1. No, the law and constitution grant it the powers it has.

    2. Nope, it's not circular. A group of individuals created the law and a group of individuals created the government.

    3. You vote. They're your representatives.

    4. The founding fathers.

    5. As an American citicizen, you vote for someone to represent you and make those decisions. That's how it works. That's the agrement inherent in your citicizenship, and always has been.

If you don't like it, feel free to leave.

  • 1. So, you're saying it grants itself the powers? Isn't theft wrong? How can they just declare it not to be so?

    2. A group of individuals created MS-13, and other street gangs as well, and groups of individuals created the mafia. Do you think they have a right to steal?

    3. I'm pretty sure they take my money whether I vote in their elections or not.

    4. How can these "founding fathers" sign my property rights away?

    5. I never agreed to anything. They don't own me or my property.

  • WIth all due respect, stop whining and grow the fuck up.

When you become an adult, you have to accept some things. Not all girls want to fuck you. Not all jobs want to hire you. And you have to pay taxes, because you live in a functioning society that intends to keep functioning.

Now kindly shut the fuck up and try enjoying your life in spite of the things you wish you could change but can't because reality isn't yours to change at your leisure.

  • I am a grown up. One who can think clearly and objectively, without resorting to profanity and emotion. Taxes are one group of people using the threat of violence to extort property from others. That is theft. There is no logical moral justification for it. If you have it, I would like to hear it.

I'm happily married, employed, and working to live in a society which does not include systematic theft.

I enjoy my life very much, thank you.

  • If you had a shred of intelligence, you wouldn't have claimed to be able to "think objectively."

  • Obviously none of us can be perfectly objective. My point was that you are thinking neither clearly nor objectively on this issue, and you are resorting to profanity and emotion.

  • There were those who said slavery was necessary for a functioning society. There were those who said adults should come to tolerate and accept slavery. And, there were those who said it would never change.

Then, there were those who were able to objectively consider the situation, and find that despite the fact that it was ingrained in society, slavery was morally abhorrent. They fought to end it.

I prefer to be the latter sort of person.

  • Wow, you've got a hole in your head to compare taxes to slavery.

  • Obviously slavery is much worse in degree than taxation -- I would much rather be taxed than be a slave.

They are very similar in nature, however. Taxation, and slavery, are fundamentally immoral acts, which use the threat of violence to violate rights and property. They both were/are legally enforced. They both were/are considered necessary for society by many.

They both were defended by people like you, who were more married to the status quo than to moral principle or honest thinking.

  • Since when do slaves own property?

    You're beyond insane.

  • Where did I say slaves own property? You apparently completely missed my point.

My point was that both slavery and theft are fundamentally immoral acts, that had/have become ingrained in our society and endorsed by government.

  • Theres a huge difference between taxation that goes to repairing and maintaining infrastructure WHICH IS WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR as opposed to massive overtaxation by corrupt governments and politicians who support the ungodly UN WHO SEE THE PEOPLE AS WORKING FOR THEM instead of the other way around. U cant call yourself a free country when u cant own a piece of property outright without owing taxes on it every year AND USA fought a war to stop that IT WAS CALLED THE REVOLUTION SO WTF !

  • And no, neither the government nor you owns the country, nor do you have a right to tell me to leave it.

I own my property, and my life. Thieves like you use the threat of violence to steal what is not yours.

  • The gang also uses the money to kill innocent people, to fund torture, and to lock millions of peaceful people, who haven't harmed others, in cages. This is what especially eats me up -- when I just put up with it and send them money, I end up being forced to fund things I find morally outrageous.

  • If you find it objectionable that you're paying money to indirectly fund things you are opposed to, you should probably relocate so that you can fund things you prefer.

  • The thing is, this gang is nearly inescapable. They operate over the entire country, and even in other countries, there are similar gangs.

Besides, why should I have to relocate in order to avoid having my money stolen from me? If I moved into an area that MS-13 claimed as part of their territory, and they stole from me, I'm sure you'd put the blame where it belongs -- on the gang. Just because I move to that area would not mean MS-13 has a right to steal from me.

  • Stop whining like an infant. Taxation is not theft. How else can a government survive? Every government does it - every government has to. Only you greedy libertarian children cry about it.

But seriously, move away. Please. Go find a country without taxation. I dare you.

  • A government could fund itself the same way the rest of us manage to: by voluntary interactions with free individuals. I'd be happy to subscribe to fire service, for example, and police/justice if they cleaned up their act.

If they can only get funding by extorting money from people, that shows how ineffective and inefficient their services have become.

I am not greedy. I give hundreds of dollars to charity every month. They help people. The government harms people.

  • And the fact that your gangs exist over the majority of the planet does not make it moral, any more than the fact that street gang territory covers the majority of downtown LA makes their actions immoral.

"Don't like the crips having shootouts in front of your apartment? Go find an area with no gang. I dare you"

This is the absurdity of your logic.

  • Poolboy, all you do here is chide ppl for not thinking like you.

  • More irony!

  • Oh please...gives a new meaning to BFF...Bimbos For Freedom...Although I don't mean that as an insult to the girls at all. Heck if it'll promote freedom I'LL put on blond hair and a short dress, although it might provoke freedom to barf since I"m not exactly a pretty man.

  • Enlist your booty now, Do it for Liberty!

  • more chicks like that in NH and I'll move

  • Dave loves to film the ladies......

  • This is ridiculous!!!

  • The URL you give in this video doesn't seem to be an RSS feed. Atleast it doesn't work for me.

  • dancing girls always pay off.... hey, how about have a contest, beauty for Liberty and have the prettiest girls make videos about Liberty... then, have a pay pal account for each one and in order to vote for who is the prettiest, we, the Liberty loving public, pay one dollar to vote for our favorite, the one with the most votes gets a 50 dollar prize and the rest of the money goes to help you with the Ridley report.

  • Hehe, he's bordering on being eccentric now ;-]

  • Bordering? Just bordering?
