I have the AE's wired to the ambers, not a separate switch.

hey man, i have a question, do the angel eyes replace the headlights or do they just add on? on my bmw 318ti the two outside lights light up when i turn my headlights on and the inside ones light up too when i turn on my brights. at 14:51 are you turning the headlights on or are those your brights?

Could you show me how to wire it in the right place? It's not really a Plug n' Play thing, you have to know how to wire it. Like with the voltage meter (or w/e that was) how did you find out where you had to wire it? for me I dont have a meter, nor will I buy one. not enough money.

Not bad...how i did it was slightly different...i dont like them on with the parking lights...so i turned my DRL off and gave the AE direct power..so they are on without parking lights...looks much better...all you have to do for that i get a relay harness...look up on ebay..AE relay harness...like 15 bucks...take power from + engine... 01 E38 will post soon

Nice! People wire them differently depending on preference. So far, I like my setup and may match my exterior door LED's to come on with the AE's.

yeah its nice when you hook it up with interior lights...im trying to figure that out,....i think ill open up my door light...check the wire color...patch it to that and bring the negative out fr earthing smhow...dont know how the connection will work...relay harness plus interior tap?? ne ideas??

Are the only exterior differences in the 1996 model vs the 2002 model the head lights and tail lights?

I think that's pretty much it. The steering wheel is different in the later years also. I'm not sure if the seats are different, but obviously the sport model seats are.

I can't exactly tell you since I haven't seen the OE Angel Eyes. I assume you remove the unit (don't know if that's possible) and install the aftermarket Angel Eyes which should involve this procedure.

Excellent vid m8.  I have just installed AE's on my 1999 528 now. I installed mine behind the headlamp lenses though, rather than in front like you did - I didn't like seeing the ring and wires. Looks just as sweet behind the lenses though, especially with HID driving lights :-)

Thanks for this one dude. I just bought a set of Umnitza Projector39's for my 2000 and I viewed the installation manual online and it made absolutely no sense. I was almost positive that you could wire them through the parking lights. Thanks again.
