You'll have to be more clear than your comment and specify which beat you're talkinb about. Otherwise I'll just have to dismiss your comment as a sincere attempt at criticism.
@Cinearte I guess hes talking about the background kinda drum beat, I don't find it as a mismatch but as a clear new addition the one of the greatest compositions ever made. Good work.
What do you consider crappy music? I consider Lil WEEEZYYYYYY shit music and personally i'd like to see someone take a louieville slugger to his face, tell him to pick up his teeth and give it to some starving kid so he/she can sell it to get a warm place to stay and something to eat. You're right though
Ok I don't understand. I don't want to take anything away from anyone who likes this music, but WHY do so many people sing its praises? It just seems to drift ambiguously along, with no clear point. Contrast Beethoven's 5th, Canon in D major, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, etc. This just seems like some random interlude. WHY do so many people like it? [I have allowed you to have YOUR taste in music; be civil and extend to me the same courtesy.]
funny you ask why this is held in high regard because I asked the same thing to a musician that loved it to death. He said its baseline is an important landmark in baroque music (I took his word for it even if i didn't understand his explanation) and also the relationship between the harmony and the melody the way they intertwine is impressive. It took me a while to apreciate it but when I was learning to play whiter shade of pale I began to like it.
Hi Cinearte, could I get this in mp3 from you, please? Or can I download it somewhere? It really helped me relax my mind... It's done very beautifully. :)
The first time i heard this song I was seven years old, and even though it was new to me the feeling of longing embraced so abruptly that I began to cry silently in the theater. My grandma thought something was wrong with me. I told her it was the music, then her eyes became broken with tears and she cried too. This song was my grandfather's favorite song... He died three months before my mom was born. Until now every time I hear it, I see him in my mind even though I never knew him.
cont...music and he used to hum me to sleep with it. He died before i was 2 and this piece is so dear to me. I am 23 now and this song will play as i walkdown the aisle. Its so special to me.
The first time i heard this i was about 11 or 12 and i really loved it.I know it sounds cheesy, but i felt as though i had heard it before. It turned out that this was my Granfathers favourite piece of classical
If everyone stopped for a moment the hate and greed and lisented to this kind of music, I doubt anyone would feel the desire to fight ever again. Music and maths are the languages that humans should use, both are impartial and perfect, and neither of those knows the word "enemy"
Yet this ugly fat bastard. Made music where even Mozart would fall on his knees for.
I am a "hardcore" atheist. And even though Johann made mostly katholic inspired music, This kind of beauty rises high above all human differences. If only for a breef moment.
Temazo, pienso que gana en su versión chill out.

adding a "beat" is a mismatch to the core. nice pix, tho, and a sincere attempt at something pretty.

Bastardization of a true classic. The poem I have no problem with, the music I do.

this multi media form truly allowed you to play with how you wanted your audience to read this, how you needed them to lay eyes across it.
