Unlike many guitar players I'm told I just "have" to check out on the tube, you actually use your virtuosity to play well-written SONGS, each of them with its own distinct personality and each flowing wonderfully. It seems so often that players who get into the stratosphere of technical ability lack a certain soul to their playing - maybe they spend too much time in the closet practicing and not enough time living.
