@linkblue1121 you can't. the demo only let's you play up to the first karmen's fortress. the cap for this minigame is found by defeating manboroth, which is about 10 missions away. note that i'm not talking about manboth, the first elephant, i'm talking about the second one, a stronger version of manboroth (it has it's own map), and you need to defeat the lvl. 3 version of manboroth. It drops the cap when you stagger it.

I do not miss doing this in patapon 3. I mean this was my bane. That and getting so few items for every minigame this was the worst cause it asked me to do super perfect timing or scrap the whole rare item I just busted my ass to find.

@goodlucktuck it's not manboth, it's manboroth, the obelisk map of manboroth is located next to manboroth. you need a special map to unlock him. defeat him twice, then the third time you fight him, stagger him and he will drop the minigame cap. you can tell the difference between manboth and manboroth by the map, manboth is in an icy glacier, manboroth is in a forest.

How Do You Get This Minigame???

@TheAlmightyPatapon At the Search for a Lucky Star stage, you'll have to wait for the rain to stop. When it stops eventually (may take awhile) enter the stage and kill the Picheek. Hoshipon will appear. Do NOT advance in front of Hoshipon. Use PONPONCHAKACHAKA mode to kill time.

Hoshipon will drop a Black Star (boss stage).

Repeat this cycle again for the second time. Wait for rain to stop etc.

Kill the Picheek again and Hoshipon will drop the Kampon cap this time unlocking the smith game.

@RoarMcprime first you have to get a specific kind of metal from the first boss of the game (you can revisit him as often as you like once you beat him the first time), and then go to this minigame as shown here. Good Luck!

personally i feel the first patapon's blacksmith game was harder, the timing was unmercifully strict and there was a particularly tricky part during the fastest phase which could drive even an expirienced person bonkers.

Frustratingly, one could get wracked enough to screw up the slow phase at the end. Its enough to make one cry.

this is 1 oof the easiest mionigames for me lol the first time i did it i didnt miss once i got them all perfect all the time and the description is wrong for divine weapons u do lvl 2 for demon its lvl 3 without missing tho for both and u can only get 1 of each weapon hoope that helps

for the first part of the game, just go in sync with the game beats (the white line around the screen) after you hear each stomp, then each part get faster and faster (the third being the hardest).

It'll take a few tries to get the whole thing down, but once your in sync with the flow of the Stomp, slight pause (first two parts and the last part), Circle Button, it'll become second nature to hear a stomp than hit it! :D
