  • Game Boy Advance is the best handheld console...ever such awesome games on those handhelds

  • Yea there were some great games on the system. Lucky my DS Lite can still play those games!

  • Don't know if you played sword of mana yet but you should really try it, it's the remake of final fantasy adventure and the prequel to secret of mana (Seiken densetsu series)

  • Havent played any of the Mana games except for some Secret of Mana. Sword of Mana is definitely the port/remake I will play of the first Mana game.

  • Awesome collection, man! Do you know if you can play Boktai next to a window with the sunlight shining through or do you have to be outside?

I played the original Dragon Warrior Monsters, and loved it, but didn't end up beating it. I have both versions of DWM 2.

I need to play Final Fantasy VI. It's the only FF game, besides XI and XIII, that I have not played.

Would you recommend Final Fantasy Tactics to anyone who new to the SRPG genre?

  • Thanks! I believe that it is possible to play Boktai that way, just the sunlight itself like those old skool calculators is enough.

FF VI is a great game I really recommend it, It is widely regarded as the best of the first 6 (or even the best overall). I preferred IV over it but VI has one of the greatest stories and rosters.

FFT, at least FFT Advance, was my start of sRPG as well. There is a bit of micromanagement but it is very accessible.

  • Super Mario 3 on GBA was a god send on the original Nintendo there was no save so once you started you had to play through. But the GBA has a save LOL.

Final Fantasy 1 on GBA is also fun I was really glad of the updated look etc etc...

  • Yea I played the FF 1 PSP version which was an ever better update from the GBA but GBA port is great as well.

SMB3 on the GBA was indeed one of the best remakes of SMB3. Saving makes it way better.

  • do you know how to mod a ps1 to play jap games?

  • Unfortunately I do not. I let mine get modded years ago.

  • same i played with both pokemon red and pokemon gold and crystal. it is just a great series ans i probably spent around 250 to 300 hours on red, gold, and crystal. can u do a collection vid on your psp games if u already didn't do one :)

  • Yea, I probably spent well over 200 hours in Pokemon.

There is a PSP collection video already uploaded. Check it out!

  • your my favorite subscription because you constantly update. i mean, your set-up isnt as good as petedorr's (i don't think anyone's is) but its great how much you update and u have a great attitude. + u have an awesome dutch accent!

  • Thanks! I always wanted to update frequently, that is what I dislike the most of my favorite subscriptions, no videos for a week or maybe once a month. So I get a little insane with trying to upload each a day. I am pretty sure not everyone likes it though...cloggin up their sub box.

But yea, I try my best to have enough content. Quantity over Quality I think...

PeteDorr is insane indeed, awesome collection, I will never have that many games. Where will I find the time for all that? :P

  • I find your collection videos very calming. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks! I am running out of things to show though....

  • @Aerodynamisch Why not go in a different direction after you run out of games to show? I suggest playthough or even guides. Tips and strategies to popular new titles as they release. You became known for your gaming collection, now take that to your advantage. You say you need to play "So-And-So", maybe get a capture card for gaming and make some vids.

I been a fan of yours as you know for awhile, so I would hate for you to just stop making videos because of lack of things to do.

  • Thanks for the feedback! Always appreciate input. Of course I will always have games to review since I am always playing new games.

Let's Plays might be interesting but without a Capture Card I am limited to emulators for now, and to be honest, the Let's Play of Square No Tom Sawyer was a bit annoying, had to replay parts since the capturing went wrong.

I find the tips and tricks, a very interesting idea, I havent really bought new games day one lately, but I will keep it in mind.

  • In terms of collection videos, I am running out of ideas, there are still NES/SNES/Dreamcast collection to do. Otherwise I am left with my DVD collection.

I recently recorded a couple of update vids, I have been having trouble focusing on games, that is the reason for the lack of new reviews...

Anyway, I might look into a capture card. Great tips anyway! Thanks a lot!

  • awesome collection gb gbc and gba is my fav systems!

also hate having a cart only game and its really hard for me to track down complete gameboy games especially the original one

  • Thanks! I prefer the DS over the GB though, but the GB was a revolutionary handheld of course...

Yea, full games are indeed hard to track down. Still sucks they used cardboard cases instead of Plastic cases like the Genesis...

Although plastic cases might not be the most nature healthy materials...

  • Great Collection! I love that you have so many boxed.

  • Thanks! I really dislike having games without a box, so I dont buy them if they dont come in the box. The only games I dont have boxed are 4 NES games..

  • You never played the first generation of Pokemon? That was probably the best imo.

  • Oh I played Red and Yellow all the way through and a little bit of Blue. I played them either on an emulator or at a friend's Game Boy since I didnt own a GB myself growing up.

Gotta find Yellow at some point...
