Activate EX Mode while the opponent is attacking, and time will slow so you can pummel the opponent. Doesn't last very long though.

@DICEBOY22 do you mean EX Break? it's a new addition to the original EX Burst. In the original Dissidia, you can activate EX Burst to guard against any move and continue on EX Mode. In this Dissidia 012, you activate it to guard against any move, BUT wont continue into EX Mode, instead you will enter some kinda time freezing period where you can definitely hit your opponent most of the time for a few seconds.

@CaribbeanStreak the prequel has a function where you can have an assist character to help you battle. it makes the battle more interesting. cause one function of assist is if you are in EX mode and my assist character hits you, you lose your EX mode. (or so I read, but no one has done it yet)

@mastamidget Don't worry. I read somewhere that having a saved Dissidia 1 file lets you load those characters' stats, so if you can beat a level 120 Chaos, a level 130 Desperado Chaos should be doable with practise.
