  • To the good sir in the video:

You might wanna consider growing some facial hair. And wearing a shirt without the v-shaped neck opening.

  • JOHNNY!! I wasnt expecting you here!

  • OMG, it's THIS guy again!?

  • 0:54 iz my guitar

  • @cazarious08 you have a gibson les paul?

  • micheal jackson???

  • Very helpful. Thank you!

  • what if you want a guitar that combines the acoustic and the electric guitar into one ?

  • @jhrejhmjhr archtop with a pickup?

  • @jhrejhmjhr Semi-hollow/Hollow body guitars?

  • Oh simply red plays guitar ?

  • looks like my aunt

  • nice video but u seem a little gay :D

  • hahaha at the very beginning you were playig the soundtrack of the new adventures of old christine

  • you're good at guitar

  • Great advice... really helpful! Know I know what to look for--thanks a bunch!

  • Go to a pawn shop get the cheapest guitar that fits (you will want to change after a couple weeks) , get some light strings. Ultra light will cut you ! After a short while you will know what you like. Most important ! Play, play ,play. If it hurts stop. I don't mean your finger tips they are going hurt no matter what guitar you chose. Shop around for a amp.I got a high end Marshall for $35 bucks. Have fun!!!

  • So that is where mick hucknall has got to

  • @BouncingPurpleCows no..i fact electric guitar is easier to play

  • JOHNNY DEMARCO

  • I was wondering the 1969 reissue fender mustang does it have a thick neck and what kind music is it good play at it?

  • Hey, I am looking into getting a new electric guitar. There are a few that really stand out to me that i really like, which are these. 1. Epihpone les paul. (epiphone for cost) 2. Epiphone SG standard 3. Dean Dave mustaine Sig. ZERO 4. Dean VX lefty. i cant decide which i want. PLease help! thanks.

  • @n8rtot7 Try them see what feels best for you. Also try telecaster. It's a great guitar. Les paul is a bit heavy and take that in consideration. SG's are really ugly (at least for me), so if you dont like tele take LP. Try Strat too. What kind of music you want to play?

  • @velebr3 Hi. thanks for helping me! well I have looked at teles and LP both. and the more research i have done i have found i wouldnt want a dean. and the SG i agree with you. the type of music i would be playing would be usually rock/hard rock. and some blues here and there. I have an "offbrand" strat right now thats from 90s that was a handmedown. I cant deside if i like the bright sound from the fender. would a tele be good for rock? thanks for the help.

  • @n8rtot7 Tele is good for lead parts, and for bluesy classic rock. But tele is more for country and stuff like that. I suggest you to try some Les Pauls before you make your finall decision. If you already have strat that is good because you can play lead parts using it. I would then buy les paul for rhythm parts. on the other hand if that strat is not good (or you dont feel comfortable playing it) then buy tele. ;)

  • @velebr3 Alright. that was whaat i was thinking. when you say buy a tele if i dont like the strat, do you mean buy that and the les paul? if you do mean that, i wouldnt be able to do that because of money. I like my strat because it has a nice bright sound, and i can use it for the bluesy sound. The tele sounds good. but i will be playing hardrock stuff so i need something a little thicker. so the les paul sounds good. When you say its heavy what do you mean? could you compare it to a strat?

  • @n8rtot7 No, dont buy the tele then. Buy a Les Paul. Since your strat is good, you wont need enything else for lead parts. ;)

  • @velebr3 alright thanks. youve helped me out alot. i dont know if i would go with a epiphone or a les paul....epiphone is cheaper, but in my mind its better to buy something you love and sounds good and is good quality vs. buying something due to the price.

  • @n8rtot7 You have Gibson LP and Epiphone LP. You probably meant that. Also its hit or miss with epiphone. out of 10 maybe 2 or 3 are really well built. Watch out for hardware (pots, pickup switch), and for neck. Thats their weakness. I suggest you to try it before you buy it. ;)

  • @velebr3 Yea, thats what i meant. sorry about the mistype. i see. i would definately try them first. the thing is that im left handed. so they arent always in the store.

  • @n8rtot7 That may be a bit of a problem, but I am sure you will find lefty one. ;)

  • I'm selling a really nice in a huge beginner bundle on eBay, check my youtube channel for the video of what's all included.

  • Your information is very useful. Thank you.

  • a hollowbody is good for country rock and metal as well.

    just ask my epiphone 535

  • what did he meant at 2:00 of the video? what test is that to test for the guitar's???

  • @MsPeppersprayed is just to see if the guitar is in tune or not

  • I'm a rhythm player and I've been looking for an electric guitar that would fit a rhythm players needs. Would anyone have any suggestions as of what to look for?

  • @Cobertuskb same man...

  • i need help deciding wether to go with an acoustic or an electric. i have both of them but idk which one to choose, the acoustic only needs new strings and the electric needs to have a $200 fix, which should i start out with, the acoustic is a Yamaha and the electric is a rsign off (repro) of a les paul. any sugestions?

  • @Joep388 How could anyone possibly help you with this? Just pick one and STFU ;)

  • I have never played a guitar....I want a real basic guitar....I don't have to have a fancy $200 one. What do you recommend?

    BTW I'm 14

  • @collegefootballrulez i would highly recomend a epiphone les paul jr it only has 1 pick up so its prety basic plus its a great all rounder its only cost around 180

  • Thank you for the advice.

  • @collegefootballrulez Get a Fender CE-60 pretty good for a beginner but i would recommend it to people with small hands thought it has a skinny neck which i'm not really fond with

  • @collegefootballrulez If you watched the video you would know step one is narrowing your search by finding the kind of music you want to play...

  • Ok so I'm decideing between a Dean ML and a Epihpone Les Paul the style I want to play is Blues,Rock and Roll/Metal any help ? I really like the feel of both but to any one whos played them know that they feel totatly diffrent.

  • In your opinion what would be a better guitar a fender jaguar, fender strat (maple), or an epiphone casino?

  • i know a lot of you guys will be new to all of this, but any of you who arn't, what kind of guitar or pickup would be best for ska and ska/punk? some people use p90s and humbuckers it seems but im not sure, and help would be awesome!

  • Well, a p90 is a single coil pickup that's pretty hot. A humbucker is dual coil and usually hot, too. A p90 is probably more versatile and will sound better clean, but a humbucker will get rid of 60 cycle hum and can distort better. I'm not a big ska or punk guy, so I can't tell you which is best, but there's a little piece of what I know.

  • thanks! thats still useful! sounds like p90s would be best! perhaps a mixture of p90s and a single coil or somthing! thanks for the help though!

  • Johnny FUCKING DeMarco!!! I HATE THIS GUY!!!

  • HEY good job...Q1) CaN Beginners buy Electric Guitar? or acoustic is more suitable?

  • acoustic is normaly cheaper, however electric is easyer to play, you dont have to press the strings as hard, id go with an electric, but again if youre only going to play acoustic stuff just get an acoustic id say.

  • This is for noobs like me

  • fuck me mick hucknal is good with a geetar!

  • I didn't get that with the 12-th fret. What should I be listening for?

  • I don't know!!

I'm really new to all this

  • You have to make sure they're the same note. Not pitch, but note, like F# and all that.

  • This homosexual can't even explain it cos he was thinking about his boyfriends ass, but the intonation is right when the 12th fret of any string plays the same note as the open string, but EXACTLY one octave higher.

  • This is great advice for beginners looking for their first guitar. Thanks for the 12th fret intonation tip. That's more the kind of advice I"m looking for... I've got a Strat Squire, but I'm looking for something different now...

  • mmmmmmmmm didnt help a bit

    knew this stuff already
