very nice. I have talked with a lot of evangelical christians who are adamant this song is about hell and the eagles are devil worshippers and belong to the church of satan. I looked many places but could not find any evidence this is true. wikipedia gives the same account don henley gives in your facts. I suppose this song is the evangelical deterrent against rock music but this was way back when the song came out. One would think they'd find a more up to date deterrent.
