i read yesterday, oct 25, 2011 in a eugene robinson column, that temperature on land had gone up almost 2 degrees fahrenheit since 1950. what if, in the next 40 years, the temp goes up 4 or 5 degrees?

Why do you people vote against your own best interest. If you are not millionare or billionare and you vote Republican, you are fucking yourself and others. Lying slogans about job killing taxation and regulation, the Republicans do nothing to create jobs, nothing. There is not one fucking job created by that Party. No one can definitively say about global warming. Are you advocating continued reliance on oil, foreign oil and the whims of Wall Street speculators? If that is what you are advocating, you are advocating the past, and that's what the right-wing does, go backwards, with heads buried in the ground; fearful. Conservatism preserves and limits change, strongly clinging to the past and warding off change. As the world moves on, you find yourself stuck in the musty past. Everything changes in life!
