why is it thats its more important for you to have a pretty lawn than have one with a few mounds on it? if anything having moles on your land is a good sign. it shows you have been keeping your grass well watered and manicured so there are plenty of worms which attract moles. having moles on your land shows other people how well you've been looking after your lawn. this did not look very manicured therefore there was no reason to shoot this mole as it wasnt doing anything wrong.

moles are a pest. My dad used to live in a very agricultural town and had to kill moles routinely as a kid. hell he even had fun doing it cause he never saw the mole. He just stomped on the ground whenever he saw one crawling just below the ground.

When I lived in bloomington, IN boy were there a lot of moles. You shoulda seen what the moles did to lawns. They can be a real pain.
