If the rescue was animal horders, why would they have given the dog to another family instead of keeping it themselves? I agree with you wholeheartedly that the majority of these "rescuers" are freaks with "I want to be a hero" syndrome but who say they love animals that they are torturing with shitty care. I'm with you on that, but then why would they have gotten the dog a new home so fast? The way I see it, something was probably wrong with the family. Love isn't always enough.

Instead of taking the dog away, if the shelter actually gave a shit they'd just screen the new owners now that it was bonded already. If it was in a happy home, what's the difference? No rescue should take a dog away from a family that loves it. That totally defeats the purpose.

@ladykillerrr I know, so many "rescue" organizations are just actually horders in disguise. Looks like the case here. Yes, Ellen screwed up, but any organization worth its salt and actually interested in finding good homes would have yelled at Ellen, but screened the new home themselves.
I remember a friend who was barred from adopting a poodle from a local "organization" - actually just a woman with a dirty house - because she MIGHT one day have children.

If the rescue was animal horders, why would they have given the dog to another family instead of keeping it themselves? I agree with you wholeheartedly that the majority of these "rescuers" are freaks with "I want to be a hero" syndrome but who say they love animals that they are torturing with shitty care. I'm with you on that, but then why would they have gotten the dog a new home so fast? The way I see it, something was probably wrong with the family. Love isn't always enough.

Mutts and moms violated the law by taking back the dog. Under law property(Iggy) is to remain with the current owner until a court ruling decides otherwise. Mutts and Moms(Iggy's shelter) went and took the dog by force after lying(breach of verbal contract) that they were just going to do a home visit. The LAPD even has said they were wrong in letting the shelter take the dog. Mind you also as of 2006 Mutts and Moms Corp. no longer exists thus rendering the contract null and void.

In case you didn't know, the bible was written by PEOPLE. How do YOU know that they didn't fix and twist shit around? The bible also say that an old man carried 2 of every animal on Earth (at the time) on a "huge" boat that somehow never resulted in the predators eating their prey. Truth of the matter is, God never wrote the bible. It was 40 different writers, all of whom never met each other over a period of 500 years, claiming that God told them to write it down.
