But just for the record: Everyone has his/her own technique of holding the pick. Don't worry too much about that. My style has already changed a few times over the last 2 xears. Depending mostly on what I am playing atm. ^^

I never had problems with learning scales and palm muting...but muted strumming is pissing me off.

He's wrong: you can't do this anywhere. There are natural harmonics so laying your fingers after the fifth fret, seventh, twelfth, seventeenth, nineteenth, twentyfirst...so on...will make them and it sounds ugly

doing it seriously fast, it works really well for rhythm guitar

@ConstantineGuitar You need to put all your fingers over the strings otherwise you do get harmonics, try and space them out and it helps too
