Actually I've been reading a very interesting book - Europe Transformed, by Norman Stone, which tells how toward the end of the 19th Century Liberals (or Whigs) were the dominating Political party and responsible for Capitalism as we know it in the UK today! Ruddy Tories steal all their policies, then Labour get 'em 2nd hand! :-)

agreed, although since the specials happened after the fictitious series 9 and 10, i want to see (as in get some new episodes on Dave see) season 11 kick in!! I've always thought of wet liberals as people who get tied in knots by their own excruciating reasonableness and ability to see things from other peoples point of view as well as their own, they tend to be very caring and empathic but unable to do much because they are tied in knots.

Haha, the shameless Carpool plug was well worth it because I like the theme, and it was great to see Sir Sean Connery.

Ive just finished watching the new Red Dwarf special (roughly) and I wanted to say I think you, Danny, Craig and Chris, along with Doug and all the crew and people involved did an excellent job. Ive not always totally agreed with Red Dwarf in regards to series 7 & 8, but its fantastic to see you guys back and on great form. Cant wait till tomorrow! Great work Rob!
