  • More of the girl doing squats!

  • I noticed sometimes you make use of blocks for a partial bench movement. If one did benching inside a powercage/powerrack, could they position the bar to minimize the full motion? But not leave the bar on the rack just gently touch it like the block?

  • I suppose, but it wouldn't have the same effect. You are supposed to pause on the board press boards. You can do dead/pin presses off power rack pins, but I suppose the method you described can work as well if you have 1" spacing on your power rack which most do not have. You can just strap the boards on to your body under your shirt or with a cord if you really had to use them. I think raw benchers benefit most out of full range pressing though.

  • Yeah thats what I thought, I might have some lumber in my shed. Though I love doing deadpresses, feel really reassured with the bar on the rack. I workout alone. I also am considering reverse grip bench presses.

  • FYI, plugged my measurements into that deadlift style calculator you sent me, result...sumo haha
