The first Bay-Former movie was somewhat ok.. and the second felt long and drug out. The 80s movie had its flaws as well, but the animation was beautiful, the robots didn't look like a mishmash of random metal bits, and, most importantly, the humans took a back seat.

That aside.. this one single song from the old 80s soundtrack makes these scenes look at least ten times better than they are without it.

Am I the only TFormer fan who thinks Prime & Jazz's high-speed 180 is ULTRA COOL in this film? If they were just normal vehicles being driven by humans it wouldn't have the same effect, IMHO. But Prime is a LIVING truck and Jazz a LIVING sports car. To me, it's sort of like they're showing Earth how bad-ass driving is done. Okay, I'm a little "out there" sometimes.

Bay completely mishandled everything. Aside from the fact that it is verging on impossible to tell one team from the other in the scrimmaging at the end, the US army beats the decepticons by themselves and prime has a super lame thirty second showdown with the badguys at the end.

It would've been AWESOME if at the end the Decepticons were about to win and kill everyone, and Prime threw down a "Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost," and reprised his murdering spree for the original.
