I tried a PWS break today and man the difference is noticeable. I am ordering one tomorrow for my new upper.

Kidding, no, you're supposed to lean into it, manages recoil and control better. The video with the birdcage is older footage when I didn't do it as aggressively but it was shot at the same angle for my comparison.

I always thought the after market muzzle break/flash hider thing was more of a gimmick until i got a upper with a PWS attached and i learned that a good break makes a major difference. The PWS 556 is worth every penny.
