Toyota didn't want to release that version of the Toyota Camry cause they knew it was essentially the identical styling to that found on the 2011 Lexus ES350. Lexus in America is trying to separate its image from Toyota which is prominently their DNA counterpart. The International Camry looks stunning, thats something worth competing against the Optima and Sonata. We always get the crappiest models.

OK if the golf cart was electric it would not be 'stop / start' technology. I have 3 carts that are stop / start and made by Yamaha. They work great but I sure as hell am not sold on this for my car / suv. Also the demands on the battery rise exponentially because of the constant use. The wear and tare on the starter also goes through the roof. So we will pay more for the much bigger battery and the much heaver duty starter that will most likely off set the gain in fuel savings. Bad idea I think

@BRADPAISLEYfan1 From what I know, it starts up instantly when you touch the gas pedal. There is no lag in it starting up. And yes, it does require more energy to start the car up yourself. I believe Mazda has stop-start technology that bypasses the starter motor and starts the car purely on combustion through direct injection. Doing so means that you waste no energy trying to start the car up.

Stop Start technology.yeah that will work out REAL good long-term. How many times have you turned the key to have your car NOT start. So in intense stop & go traffic you car is going to shut-down all thru the drive as IT determines. The Duty-cycle of the starter now has gone from Four or so times a day to ?? I'm pretty sure around here in wisconsin most golf carts are hydraulic hybrids, not electric, which means they can run for awhile with out the engine being on, which is sorta kinda start stop tech in a way, just dropping the knowledge yo
i can see the benfits of stop/start as you are doing 0mpg while idling. but i've not experienced a particularly smooth one yet. the porsche system however will cut the motor while coasting downhill
ummm.. I worked at a driving range in highschool.. and the john deer Gator we used did run on gas with stop/start technology. Also, if you turn the engine off but turn the ignition back on, your airbags will work with the engine not running. So I feel like you were hating on the fan a little too much Derek D! I like the parking thing bc I'd rather my car park itself and not the girlfriend :S

@Ozymandis09 Yeah he's pretty rich, he's worth about $30 Million right now and makes £3 million euros a year. He owns a 2010 Infiniti FX, in Europe the FX50 is worth well over $100,000 so I guess it makes sense that he has one. Don't be surprised, they only place where an Infiniti is considered affordable luxury is in the US. An Infiniti in every other country cost way more then a BMW, Audi, Lexus and Mercedes Benz. The QX56 alone in China starts at ¥1.6 Million Chinese Yuan = $235,000 USD

Ferrari and Ford are symbolized by horses. So, why aren’t they both powered by all wheel drive? I guess that’s why the Ferrari and Ford horse emblems are standing only on two legs. It’s time to put those legs down and make them all wheel drive or rear wheel drive with a flip of a switch… for the best of both worlds. That was easy!

Stop Start technology.yeah that will work out REAL good long-term. How many times have you turned the key to have your car NOT start. So in intense stop & go traffic you car is going to shut-down all thru the drive as IT determines. The Duty-cycle of the starter now has gone from Four or so times a day to ?? How many times a day??20? 120?? Yeah that'll work great!

I'm pretty sure around here in wisconsin most golf carts are hydraulic hybrids, not electric, which means they can run for awhile with out the engine being on, which is sorta kinda start stop tech in a way, just dropping the knowledge yo

i can see the benfits of stop/start as you are doing 0mpg while idling. but i've not experienced a particularly smooth one yet. the porsche system however will cut the motor while coasting downhill

ummm.. I worked at a driving range in highschool.. and the john deer Gator we used did run on gas with stop/start technology. Also, if you turn the engine off but turn the ignition back on, your airbags will work with the engine not running. So I feel like you were hating on the fan a little too much Derek D! I like the parking thing bc I'd rather my car park itself and not the girlfriend :S
