  • The coach was partly to blame. He wasn't aware of his players medical condition. You have to, have to, b aware of these factors when training someone.

The pros do it, why not school teams?

  • yes a guy died on the field but it is in no way the coaches fault. what next you'll blame the coach who's player was hit by lightning a year ago?

  • Coach,

Did you learn anything? A boy died. Did we learn anything? A boy died. What would you do differently so that another boy wouldn't die while running sprints with no water, in the hot sun? Have you learned what to look for? What would you tell other coaches? What did you tell the parents of the boy that died in your care? Were there no other coaches on the field? Aren't coaches supposed to know what medications and medical conditions there players have? Isn't there a checklist? A boy died.

  • Why would they blame the coach? He was just doing his job. The American legal system is strange, They would sue and prosecute you for stupid shit but when it comes to real situations they let most people go on probation.

  • you make a good point. this most dfinitly is insane position to be in.

  • They should blame the psychiatrist who perscribed adderall to a fucking jock. Mabey we should stop the big-pharma kid-doping companies!
