I have a question... will the arms that hold the main body of the laptop god higher? I have a cooler pad I use when storm chasing and was considering switching from a a seat track version to this.

@HookEchoMedia Yes the arms will raise higher. You can also get additional side arms that allow your laptop screen to easily close while in the mount.
