Hi there, I managed to pick up a fully working 80gb classic for cheap however the condition is appalling, If i provided you with a new back plate and face plate, how much would you charge to fit them, I live local you see.

@LeonAtTPCS Unfortunately the iPod had a little more wrong with it than what was stated on the ad, so its been refunded. Another one for you, how much would i be looking at to have a 2nd gen touch jack input fixed as my one is broken!

@LeonAtTPCS Its the headphone jack 3.5mm its cuts out Left and Right as i cycle with it in my pocket... But thaks for the quote I will be keeping that in mind when i come to sell it :)

If the title suggests how to replace a battery, then that would be misleading, but the title says nothing like that. @4UChanges It isn't unfair at all, you read the words of "we only show what we do" you should have seen advice on reading the description, everyone of our movies has a title and a description, reading both gives you all the information you need to decide whether to watch the movie or not. @timmo1986 Go for the ones that give more detail about the batterym their are many different types of battery for classic depending on generation and hard drive size.

@pulgabros Hi, thanks for the message, before doing anything, back the iPod up in iTunes, but replacing the battery shouldn't lose any information anyway.

my ipod isnt working anymore i just restore all the song in my ipod after that i safely disconnected my ipod to my laptop and its not open again and now i dont know if the battery is the problem i see sumthing in my ipod classis white ipod the unplugged do u know how to repair that? do i need to open my ipod?

@annie171989 Hi, yes the iPod will need to be opened up. all I would try is using it wihout the battery in first.
