Jade is certainly the best and everyone can see that, but I think the judges let her go b/c of that very reason. The judges hardly ever put her down, and she was NEVER in the bottom two, plus she has been nothing but kind and supportive to the others. I think they made de right decision... i love jade, but it's true that she's really very thin. putting her out there in the modeling world right away would probably give bad exemple to girls, making them think that being that thin is good, and it wouldn't be healthy for jade either. Nooo! Why Jade? I don't get it. She is amazing and in my opinion would have had a real chance to become a successful international model, much opposed to the other two (and most winners of ntm shows in general).
Still, reading some of the comments about how dumb the judges are I wonder if it ever occured to some people that panel might not be completely responsible for the decisions? They might not get to choose who wins at all, if producers and sponsors have a strong hand on the show.

omg they are so wrong for not taking her because of her weight. I think it is wrong to reject someone because of this. She was trying to gain weight and has never shown that she has no stamina! Sophie is such a cow, surely if they saw the interview answers they wouldn't have put her though with her horrible face personality and walk, when Jade was better, would have appreciated it and was so nice too.

I'm sorry. But Mecia's photo was drag and in no means high-fashion nor editorial. Jade was always within the Top 3 except for the first judging, and within the top 2 except for 3 weeks, a fucking 4 first call-outs, and with no doubt has the best walk out of the 3 left. Let me break the 'average call-out' down, and the prove that these biased judges were dumb for eliminating Jade↓

Sophie: 4.91
Sophie's average is more than 2 times of Jades.

It was so heartbreaking when this show first aired that AusNTM and BNTM both made the most WTF moves! Jade here and Clare in AusNTM are one of the best contestants on these shows, I would go so far as to say that Jade was THE BEST CONTESTANT ON BNTM!...Jade "walks like a dream", "is getting stronger" and "there hasn't been anyone who has photographed like her" and she's kicked of so that Sid from Ice Age (Sophie) and Mecia-IWouldUseYourFaceButNothingElse can go on?

Jade is certainly the best and everyone can see that, but I think the judges let her go b/c of that very reason. They knew she was going to get some major work in the fashion industry regardless whether she won BNTM or not and wanted to give another girl that chance. In addition, it just would look kinda wrong to have her as the winner. She's insanely thin; literally just skin & bones.

I seriously didn't expect them to get rid of Jade, yeh she was skinny, but other then that she produced amazing photos. The judges hardly ever put her down, and she was NEVER in the bottom two, plus she has been nothing but kind and supportive to the others. She really did deserve to win, she just had to gain a bit of weight. Atleast she embraces her downsides and wants to change. Plus, I bet there's plenty of people wanting to get her a job :) She really is Britain's next top model regardless.

I have the most respect for Jade that I've ever had for anyone I've seen on television. She certainly was the most competent model physically, but her spirit was beyond beauty... she truly made me want to be a better person. I wish her all the best in the future.

I think they made de right decision... i love jade, but it's true that she's really very thin. putting her out there in the modeling world right away would probably give bad exemple to girls, making them think that being that thin is good, and it wouldn't be healthy for jade either. She needs to get stronger in order to be able to go through all that traveling and everything. And the judges also probaly knew that she will have a great career anyways. Mecia & Jade where my favourites since day 1.
