  • I was brought up in the GB church till I was 15. I wouldn't trade those years for the world. I was brought up in a loving environment where I was taught Godly principles at a young age. I still work for my wonderful friend who is a GB, My family rents our home from our German Baptist friend and we still have many dear friends who are German Baptist. Although I disagree strongly with many doctrinal issues they embrace and couldn't in good conscience join this group, I admire and respect them.

  • @talkradiohead1 Did you enjoy growing up in a Mormon environment?

  • @talkradiohead1 I also grew up in the church until about 15, what district were you from?

  • @jxoxrxdxaxnx Very cool! Brown's Mill in PA. How 'bout you?

  • @talkradiohead1 columbia river in pasco, WA. I have some family camden, indiana, but truth be told german baptists have family all over the place. hahaha

  • I worked in this bakery & the shake stand 17 or so years ago!! Makes me want to go back down & have a strawberry/mango milkshake! They say when you work around cinnamon rolls & ice cream all the time you will get tired of them! NOT!!!! I had them everyday!!! My hubby & I got engaged down there! Just saying I love & miss you Barbara Knaus & Tom Blocher!!!

  • @Thebadman333 I was German Baptist until 6 years ago! I would not trade my raisings for nothing! My Dad would have NEVER abused my Mom! My brother does NOT abuse his wife nor is my sister abused by her's! They are just like a every other American there are a few bad ones & they make it look bad because they get more attention! But we don't live in a perfect world do we! The ones that did abuse have since lost their minds completely! But your name says enough about you! Just know I pray for you!

  • @helman72 Why aren't you anymore?

  • I like your video. I live down this way & take my Mom there every now & then; just went recently a couple of days after they opened this year. the people are very nice there, great produce & baked goods, & strawberry shakes, also across the street Redland school where my Mom went when she was young; great memories. thanks

  • BULLSHIT!!!! This GB is a cult the men are very disrespectfull to there wives they will turn there back on you in a second and all they do is use scare tactics on the woman that gets sick of her husbands abuse and i do know this for a fact! insted of keeping your eyes shut and following the sheep listin to what DAVID PENDLETON has to say and dont keep geting brain washd by thoes fools

  • @Thebadman333 Wow you are so clueless.. so blinded by what you wish they were like and can't even be decent enough of a human being to give someone the benefit of a doubt. I am so so sorry for you. They are dear amazing people and the husbands are wives are so loving and respectful to EACHOTHER. If only more marriages were so biblically based. Of course there are acceptions in any situation.

  • @Thebadman333 have you ever been a part of the church or seen how they are? you are very misinformed

  • I think I saw my old Junior Highschool friend on here...Mary Brubaker! I love you Mary and I have fond memories of my sleepover when we were kids.

  • thanx im GB and ya we arent as bad as some ppl think!!! so thanks again!!

  • Nice video, although, I wish we could have heard what the GB were saying. :) My landlord is GB and he and his whole family are the kindest people I have ever met. I just moved to Indiana and there are lots of GB and Amish around here... wow, they're such nice people!!! Good cooks, too! :) The world could really learn from these people in how to treat others and kindness.
