  • "Errrrrrrm, y'know "-

    he's fab!

  • and 34 years later Queen is still listened to

  • Interviewer: "Do you think that the music that's created today is earmarked to last to endure? or are we really all just running around making things in a disposable society? John: "I think that some of it will last for a long while... yes, 'cos it's so big you know" How right could John be here, In my opinion Queen's songs have and will stand the test of time for many years to come from now over any other group. Some of the most recognisable songs 'We Are The Champions', 'We Will Rock you' e.g.

  • Wonder if these day's and John is listening to the radio and hears his songs; does he beam saying ahh I wrote that number. John you know all you wrote were masterpieces in the finest sense.

  • John has awesome bass skills and the sound of his playing is awesome

  • Oh, I just love rock critics!..."too perfect to the point of sterility." Sounds like the kind of criticism along the lines of "overproduced" and all that crap. I'm sure their criticisms bit them in the arse when being too perfect didn't seem like such a bad thing at Live Aid '85.

  • How many times does he say 'you know'?

  • How many times do you say it?

  • You know, I haven't counted, you know, but, you know, I suppose not bizarrely often, you know. Nothing against Deaks, you know, but 'twas a funny detail, you know. He's still a, you know, a great musician, you know, and the fact he, you know, says you know all the time, you know, doesn't take, you know, his skills, you know, away, you know.

  • lol!!

  • ooo burn

  • you know ahh wouldn't you be nervous in an interview? you know

  • You know, I don't, you know, know, as, you know, I have, you know, been, you know, interviewed, you know, but never, you know, on that scale, you know, and I'm not, you know, famous.

You know, as I, you know, mentioned, you know, before, nothing against Deaks, you know, he's a, you know, amazing musician, you know, but that still makes, you know, the 'you know' detail, you know, sort of, you know, funny, you know.

  • Oh come on. What does it matter what they look like they are members of the legendary band Queen. Give it a rest...

  • que grande john!

solo te pido que te vuelvas a juntar(8)!! ??¿¿

  • Sorry, but John isn't fat today, i've got a really recent picture of him and he his nice.

  • Aw come on guys. They're just old. Not 'ugly'...

  • he has aged pretty bad

if you saw him on the street you wouldnt be able to tell its him

  • But he's not ugly.

Roger has aged too and he's ugly and fat now

  • Well yeah he has aged alot, but if i saw John on the street i would know it was him becuase John is my favourite in Queen and he is amazing. So maybe you wouldnt know it was him but many others would

  • @cycoturkey101 That simply is not true. In fact, there is one picture of him taken just a few years ago and I was impressed with how much more attractive he has become. He looks great! Obviously, everyone's appearance changes with age, but to say that "he has aged pretty bad" is...quite frankly, shitty of you. What the hell is a person SUPPOSED to look like in their late 50s and 60s???

  • It's good to hear what John thinks. We don'r hear much from him - he's such a good bass player.

  • sorry but queen didnt start 69

  • DEAKY!!!

    Long Live ~QUEEN~

    -Jessica F.

  • DEAKY RULES!!!!!

  • John Deacon é o melhor baixista que o Rock já teve ele é (he is my Best Friend) o meu melhor amigo.

    Allan.

    Curitiba/ Brasil

  • I love John, just to hear his voice is like hearing an angel sing!

  • wonderful to hear this, since I saw Queen three times in the USA. First with Mott, then by themselves twice in big venues.

  • John Deacon was the sadly face and attitude of the band ,although they knew that Freddie was dying John is the youngest of the 4 and the influenced by Mercury, and he couldn't accept any other lead singer replacing Freddie,so he protest by Quitting Queen in his mind nobody can replace F.M. is just about impossible !!loyal to the sound of Queen as a Band ,no way he was continuing playing without Freddie.

  • i hail John's principles.

it did hit John so hard when Freddie died, so you can understand his reasons for retiring.

  • lonestar?

  • Again 61 times "you know"

  • Its really really great to listen to John talk for a change.

    He's an amazing person.

  • john es muy bueno

  • John Deacon is god

  • people refering to their favorite rock star as God, is so tiresome. Pack that away.

  • God Bless John Deacon....you know.

  • Gawd the interviewer has such a boring voice but at least we get to hear john's voice. I've been wondering wot it sounded like XD. Queen Rock!!!

  • Thank goodness there is no music in background, you can hear the interviewer talking. I love all the interviews here with John. Thank you.

  • A rare treat to hear John's voice. Will always love him.
