  • ill pray for u....

  • Listen people, those exact words may not be in the bible, but what we're trying to say is that we have to try to be as compassionate as Jesus was. . . Get it . . . Good . . . You Got It.

  • You're all f*cking idiots. the old testament applies to christians just as much as the new testament does. if it didn't we still wouldn't abide by the 10 commandments. Second, gays are also human beings CREATED BY GOD! to all the idiots that wouldn't know. FYI the devil distorted your sexuality, that is why you are gay. don't blame yourself, so not your fault; i have a friend who got out of it. And thirdly, Jesus saved that prostitute from being stoned 2 death. he loved her and hated her sin.:p

  • I so wish that these idol worshipping, Moab like people would stop screwing with the word of God. How can I love you and hate something about you? Easy. If a mother has a son who has been locked in prison for murder, does she not still love her son but hate the fact that he's a murderer? Your scripture reference is off!! God loves people, but hates their sinful actions (Deut. 9:18; 16:12; Rev. 2:6 (PLEASE READ THIS ONE); **Rom.12:9**; Amos 5:21. If you are going to quote the bible, do it right!!

  • "Hate the sin..." is a rough paraphrase of a quotation from St. Augustine. As you say, not in the Bible; but a commonsensical distinction. The full quotation: "Diligite homines, interficite errores; sine superbia de veritate præsumite, sine sævitia pro veritate certate" (Love men, slay error ; without pride be bold in the truth, without cruelty fight for the truth ) (Contra litteram Petil[iani], 1.29.31.

  • Actually it is scientifically proven that people do have a gene, that they are born with, that makes people gay... So yeah

  • Comment removed

  • Also God LOVES he chastens if your walking around in homosexual activity and you are not grieved and everything is going your way then you might be following the wrong god!

  • They found a fornicator in the church Paul told that church to remove him from the church turn him over to satan so that he could REPENT! He also said not to even eat with him> a little leaven ! Jesus came to wash us clean not give us a free sin pass! once we become born again of the spirit we receive the truth religion church ect wont give us the truth just like the pharisees they recited scripture but their father was the devil! Become born again and see the truth and it will set you free!

  • If homosexuality is wrong, why does God keep creating humans that are gay? You don't decide "Hey, i feel like being gay to annoy my parents", a person is Gay because they're gay. Get over religion, common sense and logic can bring human beings together more then fairy tales

  • @handsup48 So people should let murderers go free because of course he created murderers!

  • @Mrlivn4Christ Thats if you believe in a God from the bible. Potentionally the murderer could rape, kill, steal, and at the last few minutes of his life repent his soul to Jesus and he'll get to go up to heaven with the big man himself.

  • @handsup48 But why live under the Chastisement of God your whole life ,Or seperated from GOD your whole life when you can be delivered and live the abundant life that is givin to those who overcome?

  • @Mrlivn4Christ What if your God is the wrong God? You could be living "Seperated" from the right God your entire life, and then be condemned for eternity!

  • @handsup48 ......yeah....

  • we are called to love good and hate evil. let every man be a liar and God be the truth. gay is wrong in the eyes of God.

  • I voted like for this video, because I have been persecuted by christians because I am gay. i've had christian bosses that have discriminated against me because I was gay and they did everything they could to fire me, thus ruining my livlyhood and making my life harder. Being gay is not a sin. There is nothing in the bible that says it's a sin. The christian fool that is boasting on your wall is closeted or he wouldn't have even looked up your vid. ^^

  • 4/ less, but your choosing to be disobedient does not bring honer to God, and he is a patient God who will bring Glory to Himself, and he wants you to repent. Being totally transparent, as I write this I need to repent and go into the living room and repent of my selfish attitude toward my wife that God has shown me... We are in constant need of grace, so moments more than others but if you are a true believer in Christ, born of the Spirit, I will be praying for you brother as you lean on Him.

  • 3/ all that we do, think, say, feel. We who are born of God are constantly finding new things we need to be repentant of, needing to turn from. Johnathan Edwards was one of the greatest american theologians, who did not see anything wrong with owning slaves, it didn't make it okay to own slaves it was just not something that God didn't reveal to him. You have stated that you are aware of your sin but you have chosen to justify it by stating that you don't love God less or others....

  • 2/ Who Jesus is, he is our savior, to all those who will believe in their heart that he came into the world that he created, and took our sin on himself to pay the penalty for our sin, in our place. When we are regenerated, and brought to life by the power of God the Holy Spirit who reveals to us who Jesus is, then we repent of our sin, and we continue to repent of the sins that Jesus died for as he reveals our sin to us, to include all sin, all sin against Him...

  • 1/Jesus, it God the Son, fully God and fully man. When Jesus said that the greatest commandment is Love the Lord your God with all your heart all your soul and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself, he said this to sum up the Law. You referred to this in your video. Jesus says this so that you and I can assess ourselves and see our sin. We don't love God perfectly, we don't love our neighbors, friends, family, co-workers, and people perfectly. We are sinners, in need of a Savior..

  • Vincent, check out p4cm ( Passion for Christ movement) on YouTube. There is awesome poetry by young individuals like yourself. And a lot of their videos explained things to me and helped me get freedom in tons of different things in my life. In fact my sister who is an ex-lesbian love one of them too. I recommend the video titled "p4cm my life as a stud". It's deep, honest, unaltered, unfiltered and raw testimony. Made me cry when I saw it. It's just so moving. Let me know what you think.

  • However, we hate the sin because sin ruins people, it harms people. When things aren't done the right way that God commanded us to do them, we have heart ache, and our soul is put into bondage.(Romans8) see God made us fearfully and wonderfully, yes but the bible also reads we were shaped in iniquity and born with sin. That is the reason all men have fallen short of the glory of God. Sin causes consequences that harm us. It produces death. It comes with a cost before you even die.

  • God can change you bro because that is what he does. in the beginning God created Adam and eve not Adam and Steve.

  • Hi Vincent, I just wanted to leave my two cents about this video because I have had my own personal experience with homosexuality. And "love the sinner, hate the sin" makes sense to me because all through the bible God tells us he loves us unconditionally. He sent his son to die for a world full of sinners so that we would not have to be slaves to our sinful desire (Romans6-8). So we as believers who are striving towoard holiness and likeness to God should also love sinners just as they are.

  • Love the sinner hate the sin in regard to gays is passive aggressive. How perfectly to wrap up a pile of compost and call it a gift, but it's still compost.

  • I could not agree with you more. "Love the sinner, hate the sin" is one of the dumbest and most offensive lines that I have ever heard. I applaud you for making a very good video.

  • ECCLESIATICUS 12:6 FOR THE MOST HIGH HATETH SINNERS AND WILL REPAY VENGENCE UNTO THE UNGODLY!

  • I don't see how people just ignore the fact that God hates. It's not all lovey dovey.

  • But, the LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST and this is IN THE BIBLE is to CALL THE SINNER TO REPENTANCE. We clearly see the BEST EXAMPLE where JESUS LOVED THE SINNER and yet, HATED THE SIN -- When we look @ JOHN 8:8-11 The sinful, sexually perverse and sexually deviant woman that was about to be stoned. Jesus LOVED her and took compassion on her (so that others would not stone her), but yet, HIS LOVE still commanded her to: "GO AND SIN NO MORE." That is 100% CHRISTIAN! LOVE THE SINNER - HATE THE SIN!

  • LOVE THE SINNER - HATE THE SIN IS 100% IN THE BIBLE. I JOHN is talking about again The Christian Brother, not the Unsaved Brother, the Rebellious Brother, the Apostate Brother or Sinful Brother. For fact, The Bible is clear that as CHRISTIANS let not one be "named among you" as being a "drunk" or a "fornicator" (sexually perverse). Secondly, LOVE THE SINNER - HATE THE SIN comes from JESUS CHRIST disposition with all of us SINNERS. HE LOVES US ALL. He died for our SINS.

  • Love the sinner. Because jesus teaches us to love each other unconditionally as he has done onto us. We do not love the sin. Because sin is from the devil. Therefore we do not love sin. But as human beings we all fall into sins. Because we are all imperfect broken people. That is why jesus has come and forgive us and save us from our sins.

  • @smurfboywv

Regardless if homosexuality is a sin or not is not in our place to say. But jesus intended love and marriage to be between a man and a woman, that is the way he created us.

  • It is NOT a sin to be GAY! Love comes in all forms and has no limits. If you (christians) would read the bible in its entirety you'd know exactly what those verses were meant for. Canyonwlkr 's channel clearly explains the versus christians use against us. I reccoment you watch her videos and learn something about the bible.

  • you left out thinks no Evil

your thoughts are fornicative at the least weather there gay or NOT

    Sex isnt Love

whats worst is PRIDE and a sence of entitlement

  • @libbyandtai Sex is an expression of love.

  • @libbyandtai Sex is an expression of love.

  • DUDE. Love the sinner and love the sin stil stands it's just that you mistakenly dont class homosexuality as a sin(even though God does). But I am sure that you would say that God hates adultery and so should we, Got hates murder and so should we. So we love the person, the murderer, the thief etc but hate the sin. you cant love the truth without hating fallacy, loving one thing and equally hating what diametrically opposes it is perfectly logical and your use of James 3:11-12 is out of context.

  • AMEN great word! i hate that saying also! YES we are all beautifully and wonderfully made!!! the funny thing is IF MORE SO CALLED CHRISTIANS will STOP putting other people down and stop hiding who they really are then they wouldn't be so quick to judge! HYPOCRITES is what they are. Why do folks always wanna look down on gays? so what if ppl are gay?they are committing the ULTIMATE sin by judging which is also HATING your neighbor! (no matter how you look at it)!!! LOVE is what God wants!!!

  • Also, I should mention that I do not think that "love the sinner, hate the sin" is un-Chrstian as a general concept, regarding things other than homosexuality. For instance, we should love addicts even if we hate what addiction is doing to their lives, we should love people even if they are mean to us or others, etc. We are not called to love sins. The issue in this case is not that it is un-Christian to love the sinner but hate the sin; the issue is that homosexuality is NOT A SIN.

  • Not to mention the genocide of non-Israeli peoples. As for Paul's anti-gay writings, my personal theory is that he was a self-hating gay. Hence all the guilt about being a slave to sin & the emphasis on staying single. It is important to remember that Paul was a theologian - he wasn't God. His writings, although they are mostly inspired by God, are not the words of God himself. As for God's own words, Jesus never addressed the issue! He seemed to find it far less important than LOVE.

  • I think what we really need to keep in mind here, regarding the "clobber passages," is that the Bible is not infallible. And I know I will shock a lot of people by saying this, but the fact is that Genesis 1 and 2 contradict each other completely, and there are plenty of things in the Old Testament that we do not think we should follow, including but not limited to the polygamy and the concubines, the rules in Leviticus that a woman should marry her rapist, etc...

  • I think the Lords message is pretty clear on this subject. It is writen that God hates iniquity, transgression and sin obviously right? but it is also writen that while we were yet sinners God loved us, is this not true? If God hated you and me he would not have sent his only beggoten son to save us from ourselves. Out of love christ came to bring not the rightious, but sinners to repentance. If he hated us he would not bother to save us from our sins, (to love the sinner, hate the sin) makes s.

  • Yeah um, what are you talking about. It says that it's an ABOMINATION to have a man lie with a man the same way he would like with a man. BEING gay is one thing, ANAL sex is quite another my dear. It says ABOMINATION, only one way to interpret that so sorry

  • I'm not an expert on the Bible, but it seems to me that 'love the sinner (the person) hate the sin' is exactly what Jesus was all about. Did he hate Mary Magdalene ? As far as I know he condemned ignorance and stupidity but never the person. Even on the cross, did he not say to his repentant neighbour that he would be with him in heaven. One who takes responsibility for his mistakes is automatically forgiven by God as well any true christian.

  • i bide by the Wiccan Rede "live and let live," "do what ye wilt, harm it none." those are the only ones i see that are applicable to this subject. peace and love!

  • About the Gay stuff just a little bitch slap at Christian's to show how stupid they are.

Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Two men in one bed HMMM Rapture Christian's never mention this one!

As for Jesus teaching Love. LMFAO!

Try Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, his own life also, he can't be my disciple? WTF

  • I like Christians (some of them) but hate Christianity.

  • Romans 12:9 "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good"... We are taught to hate evil (sin), but at the same time love one another (Mark 12:31). Although you may genuinely feel that homosexuality is not a sin God Himself says it IS a sin many times throughout the Bible. And just like any other sin, we can't adjusts His words to allow us to feel content in our sins. If we're content in our sins how can we be forgiven? Especially if we have no desire to change. (Hebrews 10:26)

  • You love a God you make yourself, we need God to show us How to love him. 1Jn 4:19.

  • I really enjoyed your video. I thought you presented your thoughts intelligently and clearly. Your quotations were right on. The fundamental teachings of Jesus are - love, forgiveness and compassion. Being who we are is a gift, definitely NOT a sin! The particularities of our lives are what cause us to evolve. You are the Divine Essence clothed in flesh and bones - inasmuch as you have done it to the least of these, you have done it to ME.

Be well, and thanks for the video!

  • sooooo....gays can marry and have children...but not have sex?

  • @Tenor if being gay is natural why do you have a penis that would fit perfectly into a vagina? Jesus made it like a puzzle no need to say more.

  • @keepingitreal15 1. My penis also fits perfectly into an ass. 2. I don't recall Jesus being part of the creation story.

  • @tenorcervantes I totally agree with you

Its not Jesus who create mankind, is it not supposed to be God? What kind of Christian is he?

  • @tenorcervantes

Jesus is God, Jesus was in the beginning too...

    "In the beginning, I am."

  • @tenorcervantes but the Bible says Jesus is the Creator. So the comment about the anus and penis is misleading.

Do you have any evidence that the Bible supports your lifestyle? and I notice you said we can not post the Leviticus verse about homosexuality being an abomination. So do you not agree about this? I'm just trying to understand you not judge you or condemn you. have you seen any of the exhomosexual p4cm videos? What do you think about their testimonies?

  • @ChristlivesES 1.) The Bible never says Jesus is the Creator. Jesus makes no appearance at all in the Old Testament. 2.) I do have evidence - John 3:16, Psalm 139:13-14 3.) I'm not an Israelite and neither are Christians, so unless you're not eating pork and abstaining from polyester, Leviticus doesn't apply to Christians. 4.) And I'm VERY familiar with P4CM. I'm not going to change, because God doesn't need me to change.

  • @tenorcervantes Reread genesis 1:26 "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...." Notice it says US and OUR. God is 3in1 (Father, Son aka Jesus, and the Holy Spirit). All three were present during creation.

  • @tenorcervantes Well actually, it does. John 1:1 says, "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 17:5 "Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began." Jesus is one of the "US" (Genesis 1:26) that God created man to be like. This is the "mystery" that Paul talked about in 1 Corinthians 2:7. By the way, this was NOT written with a rude tone. It's simple a reply.

  • @tenorcervantes It's not in the bible but that's the way Jesus lived.

  • @ChristlivesES If Jesus is God then He is the Creator. but Colossians 1:16 seems pretty clear... But yea anyway God needs us all to change. bc when we realize the cross and our sinful we are before it you are like forever changed. your old sinful self pretty much was nailed to the cross with Christ and you are made new in Him. If you have never changed then how do you know you will go to heaven?

  • @keepingitreal15 I have a heterosexual friend... and his penis doesn't perfectly into vegina, he has problem getting in there evey time he makes love to a girl... ah ah how do you explain that???

and a peinis can fit in a man ass, I tried it, it worked well

your point doesn't work out dude

  • @Tenor if being gay was natural we'd all be gay or most of us would be gay and we could reproduce with the same sex and the bible wouldn't speak against it and gays wouldn't have to resort to abnormal sex. Don't get mad because of what the bible says being gay is a sin there are countless verses that call it a sin you are greatly delusional. I am a ex kleptomaniac I used to steal things was me stealing not a sin? What if I said I had a natural desire to steal stop being so stealaphobic?

  • @Tenor I didn't even listen to the entire thing but you can hate sin without hating the person. You aren't a christian if you live to live in a lifestyle contary to Jesus. Making excuses doesn't change anything you can't just to follow certain parts of the bible because it suites you while ignoring the parts that point out the sin you choose to do. Ether follow the bible in it's entirety or leave the religion because honestly it's all in vain anyway you will NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

  • sodomizing your brothers is a sin

  • @dirtdemon6 not if you love him and not he he loves you back, and want too

if both people want to do it, then whats wrong with it?

its called free will, and as adult we should be free to do what we want, free of those rules set by God

from a non-believer perspective, I can tell you, you are in a prison, you follow rules set by an invisible entity all your life, its so sad. I'm so glad i'm not trap in this mental prison that believers live.

  • How is this not Christian at all? (maybe my understanding of the words is wrong?)

Don't we admit before God that we are all sinners?

Are we not taught to love one and other?

Are we not taught to hate and reject sin?

  • Basically, what it comes down to is this. Please know that this is not coming from me, but from YHWH'S Torah. 1 John 2:4 CJB: Anyone who says, “I know him,” but isn’t obeying his commands is a liar - the truth is not in him.

  • As far as a men with men here is what YHWH says, this is one of the 613 Laws of YHWH. Lev 18:22 CJB: You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination. Lev 20:13 CJB: If a man goes to bed with a man as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they must be put to death; their blood is on them.

  • Tit 3:11 CJB: You may be sure that such a person has been perverted and is sinning: he stands self-condemned. As you can see, the same feelins are share in both the Old & Renewed Covenants. It's based on what the Tanakh referes to as sin. Sin is basically not what WE think evil & wrong is, but what YHWH thinks sin is and sin is the breaking of His Intructions/Laws/Commandments. 1 John 3:4 CJB: Everyone who keeps sinning is violating torah - indeed, sin is violation of torah.

  • Shalom, I mean no offense, but let me answer your question based on what the Tanakh (Bible) says. First off, time & place for everything (See Ecc 3). 1st from Old Covenant (Testament) Psalms 26:5 CJB: I hate the company of evildoers, I will not sit with the wicked. Now from Renewed Covenant. Tit 3:10-11 CJB: Warn a divisive person once, then a second time; and after that, have nothing more to do with him.

  • "It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. 2 And you are proud!"Granted, this is concerning incest, but it does illustrate intolerance of sin and as you say, "hate the sin but not the sinner" does seem to be a Christian principle. But from everything you have went through, as well as your acknowledgements. But don't forget, Jesus calls us friends and will give to those that ask :D

  • well thank you for accepting me to then.but i think you will have many problems still with some christians that will condemn you just because u r gay.i hope not but you know how some people are.well i send u light and love.and do u believe in hel?

  • well thank you for accepting me to then.but i think you will have many problems still with some christians that will condemn you just because u r gay.i hope not but you know how some people are.well i send u light and love.bb

  • u cant say you love god and willfully sin/ being gay

  • @lovelylady8998 Yes I can, because being gay is not a sin.

  • @tenorcervantes Being gay is not a sin. Having gay activities (e.g. sex) is.

  • @platmosic Being gay is not all about sex.

  • @tenorcervantes I did not accuse you of anything, you know.

  • @tenorcervantes Veryt true !!

  • 1Cr 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous [fn] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,The greek word here for homosexuals is arsenokoitēs and it means one who lies with a male as with a female, sodomite, homosexual. The New Testament is clear, those who practice homosexuality are not saved they are not christians.

  • Notice what it says just shortly after1Cr 6:11And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

It says those that are christians now, WERE those thigns mentioned. But you were washed, you were sancifitied, and justified.

My friend, I say this to you because Jesus is better than anything this world can offer. The real question is, have you submitted your whole being to Jesus' Lordship?

  • @tenorcervantes

The question here isnt about should you hate sin if a person commits sins regularly with their lifestyle, because both me and you would agree that you would hate the lust a person commits, cursing a person commits, murdering a person commits, because that is not the person that you would be hating, its the sin. The question here is, is homosexuality a sin.

  • @platmosic

When youre gay its not just about sex, gay people fall in love too

Homophobes are so afraid of gays that they don't try to undersand, they just judge

  • @platmosic he gots you there! lol

  • @tenorcervantes Very true !!

Gay♥ from Steven opf Holebis ♥♂♂,♀♀♥

  • @lovelylady8998

ok, if God hates gays for being gay, then why should gays love God for hating them to be gay?

nothing make sense with people like you

your thinking is so emotional, not rational like non-believer do

you should stop preaching hate, and telling people to hate themselves, who are you to judge other people sexuality or chocie of life? People like u should stop using religion to justify your hatred and telling people what to do with their lives, we are free as humans!

  • In order to be forgiven by God once and for all one must believe that Jesus was "God the Son". That he was God's "sacrifice for sin" for all time. That he died, was buried and rose again from the dead and is now in heaven ready to save all who come to him by faith in his sacrificial blood, death, burial and resurrection. Then one personally follows God and allows God to work in whatever way he sees fit in their life. Sorry for the triple post due to limitations of youtube.

  • I would also like to just quickly mention something that I see alot of on comments. That "certain people" going to hell (homosexuals being one group) Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Notice it says "all liars". Now everyone has lied! Sorry Heterosexuals that includes you!

  • Christians do a VERY POOR job of dealing with homosexuality, mostly due to ignorance and the (culturalisation) of Christianity. I would like to bring out that when Jesus dealt with the woman taken in adultery in John chapter 8; and the religous leaders of his day; he brought out that they were all guilty of some sin. Jesus said to her in John 8:11 "...Neither do I condem thee: go, and sin no more." Jesus came to set us free and redeem us.

  • Hate the sin, but love the sin, is not a quote from the Bible, you are correct. But it does reflect the sttitude of Jesus to sinners whom he encountered in the Bible. When the Pahrisees wanted to stone the adulterous, he did not condemn her, but he told her, "Go your way and sin no more." Clearly, he did not like the sin she was committing.

  • either you believe all of the bible or you don't believe any of it you don't get to pick and choose what you believe when you talked about corinthians 13 4 you stoped short im just wondering why you did not read the whole thing... what i hear you saying is that im free to say or express what i feel as long as it agrees with your what you have to say about it ....

  • I really think Christians need to distinguish between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, Jesus said nothing to condemn Homosexuality and he is the one who brought about the New Covenant which we are living in today. And people who quote Leviticus against gays tend to be hypocrites, as they are often wearing jeans and a t shirt(mixed fabrics) and eating bacon at church bbq's....which is also an abomination in the Old Covenant...why be selective of what you preach against?

  • @EbsNhexz Jesus said the law is good and he upheld it saying, "Not one jot or tittle of the law shall pass away, ubtil all things are accomplished." He never specifically mentioned bestiality either. Are you saying he was okay with that? What you fail to understand about Leviticus is that the Bible specifically says in the Book of Acts that we are no longer bound to the Law of Moses EXCEPT concerning sexual immorality and a couple other things. (Acts, Chapters 15 and 20).

  • @DerHerrIstGut Homosexuality was a socially overt thing in Roman Judea, Jesus was never afraid of offending people so he would have spoken out directly against it. Bestiality was not so widely practised in the region. However it is condemned as an act of lust, there is no mutual love in bestiality as it is an act of rape.

  • U mentioned the "clobber Scriptures," and really, I would like 2 post numerous ANTI-"clobber" Scriptures in 2 this comment section really soon. I will already refer 2 ONE of them right away; it has 2 do with what GOD's holy Prophet Ezekiel said of Sodom (he gave the PRECISE, ACTUAL reasons 4 the city's destruction by the Hand of God), and that is in Chapter 16 of that Old Testament book. Some folks might B QUITE surprised by what they find in there! I know *I* was!!! I was SO ignorant, folks.

  • A lot Christians need to stop forcing their faith on everyone. Not all of them do that. though. When you wave scripture in my face- I could care less. I was raised by a pastor- if he didn't win me over and I don't even know you definately have no chance to do any good. You say you hate the sin- but when someones says they are gay- it's who they are- you hate them too...idiots.

  • I can oppose something you do(which stems from your heart), but i can't pick and choose which parts of you I want to be gracious towards.

    Subtle disctinction.

  • @TheCarydal Afterall nothing about anyone is untainted by sin : ).

  • With regards to Romans 1, it says for this cause God gave them over. What is the cause and who is the them? If we are going to quote this verse at gays - we need to be specific here. Romans 1 cannot be applied to gays today - they are not idolaters or temple prostitutes or engaged in fertility rites. How can this verse possibly be aimed at gay people?

  • @tenorcervantes Clearly the bible(god's word) says that it is sinful for a man to "be" with a man. He gave them over to the SINFUL desires of their heart to do what ought not to be done. if you can hear the spirit, examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. if we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in darkness, WE LIE and do not live by the truth... if we love God we will keep his commands, seek God and be convicted of the Truth of the Gospel. Jesus saves us from God's wrath!!

  • "Love the sinner, hate the sin" is an approximate translation of some words of St. Augustine of Hippo. "Love men, slay error" is another version of it.

The point is that people are to be loved, but their sins are to be rejected: it's very much in agreement with the behaviour of Jesus as presented in the gospels.

    As for homosexuality:

    1. being h. is not a sin

    2. b. g. is part of one's identity - to hate it, amounts to self-hatred. If people hate themselves, how can they love God & neighbor ?

  • i want to add also very strongly to those self-righteous hypocrites....the Bible says only ONE entity has the right to convict of sin, and that is the Holy Spirit. so, unless you are the Holy Spirit, you have no authority to go around trying to do His job! The Bible says judge not that you be not judged....for with the same intensity that YOU judge others, God will judge YOU! Jesus said, YOU who are without sin, go ahead and cast the first stone! deal with your OWN life and leave us gays ALONE!

  • Great video. Just reading through some of the comments - a lot of people seem to be hung up on religion and keeping commandments - but we are not under the law but under grace - the bible says what is the will of god - to believe in the one he sent. Start loving more and don't be Pharisees. If this man has faith, he is in relationship with god, because faith itself is a gift from god! Anyone who has faith is saved, the righteous live by faith. Would anyone like to respond to me please!? Go

  • These are not my own words but you get the idea... "Sin is to be hated, not excused or taken lightly. We love sinners by being faithful in witnessing to them of the forgiveness that is available through Jesus Christ. A true act of love is treating someone with respect and kindness even though he/she knows you do not approve of his lifestyle and/or choices - GotQuestions

  • I love my daughter but I hate the things she does but I try to steer her to righteousness,,,,loving someone is not allowing them to walk in darkness,,,showing them the light when you know something they do not or just havent seen yet....please dont sit there w your homosexual stance and claim yr a christian,,,take up yr cross,,,if you love jesus then give up yr homosexual lusts,,,but u wont, why because you dont ,,,jesus said "follow me" if u cant give up one thing u love yr self not jesus

  • how do you answer the fact that your orientation is not in the Bible anywhere. The word of God only deals with a Man and a Women within marriage. Every reference of sex within the Bible that is not between a man and a woman and within marriage, is spoken of as sin. Has God convicted you of any other sin in your life? and if so what? How do you answer Romans 1, or Sodom and Gomorrah, where homosexuality is portrayed as sin, and mind you this is the Words of God himself speaking.

  • @rbeasley123 The same way that heterosexuals deal with the fact that their sexual orientation is not anywhere in the Bible either. The Bible does not discuss sexual orientation at all. The concept of orientation was inconceivable during this time. Romans and Sodom are two very different things talking about two very different situations. Neither having to do with homosexuality.

  • @tenorcervantes

So when the Bible says "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh." Genesis 2:24, its not talking about sexual orientation? There are two references within that very text for a man and women being the center of logical sexual orientation, without using the word sex. A man and a man sexual orientation is not natural. It contradicts all measures of logical and natural understanding, and it is not Biblical.

  • @rbeasley123 Genesis affirms the idea that we are all worthy of companionship. Heterosexuality isn't Biblical either. The institution of marriage in the Bible is mostly economical.

  • @tenorcervantes

It specifically mentions male and female companionship. Which in turn affirms heterosexuality, and mentions nothing of it being economical. Marriage is an institutions set in place by God Himself, which He Himself affirms is between a man and women, not just between two people. The Bible clearly explains how unnatural relations are a perversion, and a sin that will lead to death. We all sin, but the difference is homosexuality is a lifestyle, and not just an act of sin.

  • @tenorcervantes I will tell you something,,,before I was saved I never had a strong dislike for homosexuals,,,,I figured it was loving to accept them,,,Jesus changed my heart and now I cant stand sin,,,I cant stand when people disregard Jesus,,,I hope you become saved,,,right now you are on the right track,,,keep it up and pray for Jesus to change yr heaart

  • @candiceevans I have never been a fan of the term 'saved', but nonetheless, I am a Christian and I'm gay. My love for my husband does not separate me from loving and honoring God in anyway. Jesus did change my heart, the Holy Spirit allowed me to stop hating myself and to fully accept myself as God made me.

  • @tenorcervantes There is a list of people who won't be in Heaven and those who practice sexual sin won't be getting in,it's not my opinion it's God's law.Repent and believe or perish. You may love some god,but it's not the God of the Bible,it's a god who you feel comfortable with, one who accepts what you do and approves of .Most people who say they believe in God mean they just believe in THEIR idea of God.

  • @candiceevans1 :) My soul rejoiced when I saw your comment, it is a blessing for to see another true Christian! :D

  • @tenorcervantes in your defense too, also let me add, the Bible says that "God created man in His image" never once referring to a woman.... which God created also did He not? also, the Bible says that God is a Heavenly being.... neither male nor female. the Bible also states that when we get to Heaven, we will not be male and female nor will marriage have any meaning there..... rather we will have a glorified body like the Angels..... which by the way are neither male nor female either.

  • @smurfit24 (cont) oh by the way, somebody needs to get God's message to all the many species of animals (that have been documented so far) that male and male sex and affection is a no no! if homosexuality was to be such an evil and despicable thing that God supposedly hates more than anything else, then why in the 40+ years that Jesus was here preaching, why did He not spend an enormous amount of time warning against it? for a thing to be so horrible and damning, the Bible says very little. :-)

  • @tenorcervantes this is true. homosexuality is not mentioned concerning Sodom and Gomorrah.... when analyzing the original text. they were judged by God and destroyed because they were inhospitable and did not take kindly to strangers. that is why the townspeople were after the two Angels that came into town. and what about Lot Himself... offering the angry mob outside to take one of his daughters in exchange for leaving the two strangers (Angels) alone!? shame on him! right? that was not sin?

  • It is written, John14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." This issue is something you must work out for yourself. Love is never a one way street, it is only true love if you receive it as well as give it. You must ask yourself Doest thou love G-d? Then thou shalt keep his commandments! All of those written in the Holy Bible, for the Bible is G-d's word. We will sin, but Jesus and G-d will forgive, but if we love G-d, we must try to keep his commandments.

  • You want to know how love fits in with hate? I love you enough to the point that I would gladly lay down my life for you, and the entire human race if need be, but I hate the fact that people are not going to accept Jesus and go to Hell just to please themselves. I hate sin, sin is a cancer in all our bodies, even mine, and it consumes us day in and day out. Jesus has given us all a second chance though. Praise G-d for that second chance!

  • Jesus says it in Mathew, it is the second greatest commanded to love thy neighbor as thy self. Jesus also preached to the multitude to not only love your friends but to love your enemies as well. Sin kills us, by taking us farther from G-d. Luke 17:3 "Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him." You do not forgive someone you hate.

  • I love that poster!

  • 1 Cor. 6:9 is increasingly believed to be in reference to prostitution. It wasn't until TWENTIETH century revisionists added the word "homosexual" to the passage to (incorrectly) condemn all for the actions of a few. And the charge of Satan's influence is NOTHING new. The Pharisees thought of discrediting Christ Himself as Satan in Matt. 12:24. Such is the sad cry of those who refuse to hear alternate views like the Pharisees did with Christ.

  • Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. The sexually immoral will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Blessed are the humble. God is not looking for the proud, those that will exult themselves.

Do not be fooled by this video posted. Homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Homosexuals are depraved and have decided to live without God. EXAMINE YOURSELF WHILE YOU HAVE TIME. Do not try to use the scripture to justify your sin. For many will say Lord Lord and He will say depart from me

  • @Rage4444 So are you saying that we shouldn't be fooled to believe that God loves everyone and teaches us to love everyone unconditionally?

  • @tenorcervantes

That is exactly what I am saying. True love must hate. Love does not rejoice in evil. It cannot. For what fellowship can light have with darkness? You see, God does love everyone, for He is the creator. "Depart from me you workers of inequity."

Anyone who says they know God or that they are a Christian and hold onto their sin are fooling themselves. FOR BROAD IS THE ROAD THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION. And many will follow it.

  • @Rage4444 How does love and hate fit together in the same context. How does love hate? That logically doesn't make any sense. Love is love, without any reservation.

If you want to believe that I'm fooling myself, that's fine. Think what you want. I know who I am in God's eyes, and I know that God loves and affirms me without reservation.

  • @tenorcervantes

1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Read it. Live by it. Real love must hate. "Love does not rejoice in evil." Real love hates evil. It must. It doesn't make sense logically? Neither does God walking the earth as a man. Neither does the trinity of God. Neither does the resurrection of Christ. I hope you repent. Being gay is not who you are. As of now, you do not know God. Sorry to break it to you. You know the text, but heck, Satan knows the bible better than I do. Unconditional love = lie.

  • @tenorcervantes If you love children, you hate abortion am I right? If you love a person, youd hate something that harms them right? If God loves that which is pure, that which is holy, then He must hate that which is unrighteous, that which is unholy and vile.

Heres some passages for you. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1:18-32, and Psalms 5:5.

Let go of your sin! All of it. Cling to Christ. Jesus saves us from Gods wrath. Repent!

  • @JesusChristIsLord548 Okay I'll get right on that.

  • I forgot where, but I heard the concept in the title of the above vid came originally from Ghandi. Seems like a good idea on the surface, but since a person's sexual orientation makes up an important part of his/her characteristic makeup, its practically impossible not to hate the one without hating both.

    Gay and Christian?

    Why not?

"...With God ALL Things Are Possible"

    Matt. 19:26

  • @clay56 You are right, it did come from Gandhi. He posited this statement through his teachings on nonviolent. However, it has been taken way out of context. He used it as argument to say that the people committing acts against humanity are not our enemies, the true adversaries are misinformation and injustice,

  • The judgement is based uppon Gods Word, I plead with you to read the bokk of 1st John there is only about 5 chapters with an open heart. Again my comments to you are based from.Gods Word, not mine.

  • @MACGARCIAcom Last I checked, God didn't have a YouTube account. Those are your own words of judgement.

  • @tenorcervantes Did you even read the book of 1st John? It will expose your darkness and show where I'm getting these 'judgements'. I will be glad to repent if you can show me where I am wrong, or if what i'm telling you is not from what God has said in 1st John.

  • @MACGARCIAcom John words are written to bring people to Jesus. So that all people can leave the "darkness" and be in the "light". I understand that, and it's a great message. The fact that I have a husband doesn't mean I'm in the darkness. I won't repent for being gay. If your goal is to get me to think that I'm a sinner, then you chose the wrong person to try to persuade. I know who I am as a Christian and I know that God loves and affirms me without reservation.

  • @tenorcervantes No Johns words are to fill 'believers' with joy (1 Jn 1:4), reading this should show you that you have no testimony of being born again and are still in darkness. You were born sinful (gay), and untill God opens your heart, your right, you won't repent for being gay. My prayer is that God will keep you up tonight about your unconverted heart, or God might have already GIVEN YOU UP to your lust (rom 1:26-27).

  • @MACGARCIAcom You can pray for that. That's fine.

  • I love you but it shows in Ps 5:5 you are under God's just, holy, anger, towards you. His hate towards you will be manifested on your appointed day. Repent and believe the Gospel.

  • You are remaining in your sin and shows you are not a Christian, whether you delete this or not doesn't change the truth, this is troubling to not think this an educated descusion. You are a lier if you say you have fellowship with God and are walking in darkness. Your hear is deceiving you about your relationship with God. Your heart is sick and you need to look to the Jesus to make you a new creature. You were born in sin with your sexual preferance and need to be made a new creature.

  • @MACGARCIAcom I like how you think you're righteous enough to tell me whether I'm a Christian or not. And what you are saying is abusive. It's abusive because you are standing over me in a position that says that your idea of spirituality is superior to mine. By doing so, you are not recognizing my love for God and MY relationship with Jesus and the spiritual journey I have been on with the holy spirit. So I'm sorry, but you're wrong, you don't get to decide whether I'm ACTUALLY a Christian.

  • "love the sinner but hate the sin" is rather politically correct; it would create a damaging effect for society and that you should tolerate what/ who they are yet what they are doing is forming the personality which is sinful, so it has to be both in order to deter the sin. e.g. punishment. Murder is a sin, a murderer is someone who murders which is a sin therefore the individual is a sinner because he sins. So therefore hate the two.

  • @NatDemUK In essense, I do agree. If you're going to hate my homosexuality, don't tell me you still love me as a person. Being gay is part of who I am as a person. So you might as well hate both me and my homosexuality, the two go hand-in-hand.

  • they just use us to clear their conscience.

by hating us they can deny they have sins

    they are assholes

  • The Quote you mention is from Gandai

But it blends into the world of distorted scripture very well

  • Comment removed

  • Bible-quoting "Christians" are so tiresome.

  • idk if you have read this b4 but here it goes . . 9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS -1 Cornthians 6:9. . .im not saying, but the Lord is in his word, and as u may know, the Word is the truth, the honest truth is i dont know you or your life style, but one must listen to his word and stop leaning on ONES understanding provrbs 3:5

  • @jasononbass124 been there read those

  • then why arent you following it?? the Word of God is the truth. . why would u only listen to wat concerns you?? makes no sense

  • @jasononbass124 actually that was the word of paul. and the words of paul were arsenokotai and malakois in greek.... do you know what those words actually translate to?

  • are fornicators going to heaven or liars?

  • I Love you by yelling you that you need to come out of your sin and accept the teaching of Jesus to go and sin no more. Read John 8:4-11 when the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman to Jesus who was caught in the very act of adultery. He forgave her but told her to stay away from her sin. There are many Christians who will be condemned because they disobey this very teaching of abstaining from adultery. What makes homosexuality special that you can continue in your sin but she couldn't?

  • @Adyeshuwa1876 Okay, I am already a Christian. And two, even though we are called to be Christ-like, we are not Christ, we don't have the authority to tell anyone not to do something and claim to have the moral authority on it. Thirdly, homosexuality is not sinful; and you can save sharing the 7 or so Bible verses that people claim to say deal with homosexuality, because in reality they have nothing to do with sexual orientation.

  • Do you understand now how easy it is for a Christian to love the sinner but hate the sin? Repenr and turn to Jesus because this may be your last warning, Please???????

  • But, I still love you because Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 he said to love my enemies. In James 4:4 the bible says that to desire friendship of the world is to be an enemy of God. The Scripture is refering to sinners that God loved so much that he sent his only begotten son Jesus to die so that you may have eternal life.

  • In John 16:7-9 Jesus state that he would send the Holy Spirit (Comforter) to convict (reprove in the bible) the world of sin because they don't believe in him. This action shows his like hatred for SIN in the world. I going to paraphase John 15:26 and Act 1:18 to tell you that the same Holy Spirit that Christ sent to convict you of the sin in your life is in me and I say the same as our Lord "Repent!!!!!! of your sins because it is an abomination to God.

  • If you look in the webster's Dictionary the word sin has a synonym called abomination. That's in the bible: Proverbs 6:16-19 Says that God hates sin and spells out just of the worst.
