Gotta get dual exhausts to help it look , sound, and breathe better. You sad it was a tight fit, I bet you gotta loosen the motor mounts and jack it up to change the spark plugs or change a starter huh ? Or you could just take off the fenders or cut an access panel in the fenders and make the panel removable with bolts. The 69 Boss 429 Mustang had to have the engine lifted a good 8 inches to get at the spark plugs,it's because of Ford's fucking shock towers that take up 50% of the engine bay.
Hi - no this one had a Rover 3.5, with fuel injection (see my other vids for better quality and better-sounding versions).
The Rover V8 was quite involved but do-able, it's a very tight fit. The Stag V8 is simpler as in some respects it "bolts up" using 1850/Sprint subframe and the Triumph 4 speed OD box but it's still very, very tight and requires a lot of work to squeeze a cooling system in. See my other vids for one of those too!
No problem getting hold of one - or one of it's bigger brothers, the 3.9/4.0/4.2/4.6. They came in Land Rovers, Range Rovers, Rover P6s, P5Bs, SD1s, various TVRs, Marcos, kit cars and more...one place still making them!

Is that a stag v8 under the hood? I'm hoping to change mine to v8 sometime. Is it much work?

Was it hard to get hold of the Rover 3.5? They have them in the old Range Rover's don't they?

A V8 Sprint? I thought they all came with overhead cam four bangers. Nonetheless, your Sprint sounds quite healthy.

Definitely not a factory standard one, this :P
This was quite an old vid though, not long after I got it - check out my later ones for it sounding a little less.........refined!
Thanks!
