Some guys here need to learn about what are talking about before try to make any kind of argument. Low and High register depends directly from the singer's voice register. For instance, Britney is an Alto, so any song with a key up the 4th octave will be high register for her. To take other example, Christina is a sopran, so her high voice will start in the 6th octave. Do you understand these facts or I need to explain it further?

It's simple. The high register she uses in the studio (baby voice) is hard to replicate live, esp. when dancing. In the studio, she can take breaks and redo lines. Through editing, it sounds like she sang it all in one smooth motion. Her natural voice is a lower register as seen with songs like "the beat goes on" and with the way she sings on the MMC/Star Search.

Jive has EVERYTHING to do with her music. Why do you think so many artists leave (or get fired from) their record labels? They want the music to be a certain way or sung a certain way. All they care about is profit. They probably put it in her head that her lower register wouldn't make as much money. And well, they're right. Her higher register is more "pop" and has sold millions. But Britney's contract ends after this album. So she can renegotiate a new one or leave.

The only one that is Remotely close to her natural register is The Beat Goes On and even that one has a mix of high and low. And that's not her song! The rest are still the HR. This was purposely filmed and put public. She is singing live. But when the show begins she won't be singing live. You cannot sing and dance as much as she does live. It is simply imposible.

Wrong, the Bad Tour end in 89.....and this tour was completly live. The Dangerous Tour was 60/40% live.......and then in 96, The History tour....was more lipsync than live.......
Therefore I mean that Britney in her age of 27??? not need lipsync if the voice still working. Unless the voice are awful live. Who knows :)
