I'm a fan of one of your biggest rival teams here in the Atlantic (Penguins) but I have to admit being an avid hockey fan and watching Marty for the past 15 years that it is a tribute to a great goaltender, one that I think is very appreciable and goes along with the history of a franchise that (I will admit) has not had a bad season since I can't remember when.

I won't say "Go Devils" but I do have the highest respect for Brodeur and bid him congrats for setting the new wins record.

heyheyhey another frenchmen tops it all so someone wants to say someting about us french people again , Brodeur, Lemieux , Roy , Maurice Rocket Richard, Guy Lafleur, Micheal Bossy and in a 10 years from now to become the next goalie to tie Brodeur, Roberto Luongo, and i forget so many great ones.

I've got a feeling it's gonna be more than 10 years. He's still got 3 years to go on his current contract. I wouldn't be surprised to see him raise the record to 700. Isn't he French-Canadian, not French? Isn't there a difference, like Brodeur and Roy not being from France? Not that I have anything against French people.
