I find it easier to play blindfolded actually, lets me consintrate on the music and timing more correctly.

Yes, one thing I was thought in most of my music lessons, especially violin. Don't look at the instrument. When you get to a certain level, believe in your playing, don't check, listen.

Also helps for perfect pitch.

wenn er wirklich blind spielt, warum bewegt er dann ständig den kopf so hektisch hin und her (übrigens bei den anderen sachem mit augenbinde auch).... du kannst toll spieln, lass doch son firlefanz einfach weg und hau einfach in die tasten, drauf hastet auf jeden fall, auch ohne binde :)
