shannen is a really good actress but she is a spoiled snob. alyssa is a great person and very talented. the show was really different with paige but both characters were great.

Bullshit. There was conformation between the two but it wasn't the reason she left the show. After falling out with Executive Producer, Brad Kern she took a sabatical from the show - while on this hiatus she was fired, over the bloody phone!!
Both women were made out to look bad and when Shannen slammed the show, trying to hit Kern where it hurts, Milano took it to heart and the two never patched things up.

I agree. Glad someone is honest with what they were viewing. After her departure the acting sucked, the story lines were in help, and did you not notice the repeating of that they were trying to recapture the magic in the old eps which just did nothing for the show.
I looked at wikipedia. I saw the ratings they were in no way close to when shannon was on there. The proof is there. Shannon brought charm to what it is. Not rose. Nobody really catered to watch the show after prue died. however I do agree that there were afew shows (about 1 or 2) where it done well with rose in it. One of them beng the last show still not as high as shannon which tells us who the better actress is.
Season 4 with Rose McGowan was pretty good. The storyline with evil Cole/evil Phoebe was one of the best of the series, but after that, it all went down hill. The dynamic just wasn't the same anymore. Part of what made the show so great was seeing the girls interact; seeing their struggles and vulnerabilities and watching them overcome it all together as a family. But when Rose M. came along, it became very two-dimensional, focusing mostly on their power and not their relationships as sisters.
